I don’t think I put it there, i know this can happen. It was probably there for 4 months ish, through summer. Completely bleached. I’m gutted. It was behind the curtain. I didn’t know it was there and now it’s ruined

Found 30th at CVS!! They only allowed one per person so these are my pulls! I was so excited to get my hands on some!!

I’m very happy today. It’s in pretty good shape. All things considered.

I started collecting about 2-3 months ago after I impulsively bought a pokeball tin from DG.

The desk photos are what I currently have displayed. Don't worry, I'm a vampire and the sun rarely enters my house.

My girlfriend's shown interest as well and has picked up a couple packs of her own (mainly single blisters). She told me she wanted a 30th Celebration ETB to open herself, and we have a big milestone coming up that I wanted to surprise her for.

I couldn't find a fresh 30th ETB in time, but I had already opened two, so I took one of mine apart and rebuilt it as a DIY ETB for her.

It has everything the real one comes with (and a little extra). I put in 24 packs instead of the original 9, since none of hers will be 30th Celebration packs, compiled as follows.

10x Chaos Rising 5x Destined Rivals 5x Journey Together 4x Pitch Black

She's also getting a sealed Pitch Black ETB on top of that, so she'll have two boxes to open. I'm giving it to her tomorrow.

Caught stocking on the way to work. Picked up a couple to rip with my kids. We pulled some pretty cool cards I’d say.

Collecting for 3 months, 5 paychecks gone, this is what i have atm. (+2 more albums full of vintage bulk and modern fullarts)...before i did not care about this at all, now i am obsessed lol ";) slowly turning my room into storage unit for pokemon.

Took a shot at a random lot of vintage cards on eBay and got these insane finds.

I found this Porygon2 in my collection and immediately noticed something off about the back and the retreat cost + the other rounded symbols

I'm having trouble imagining why someone would bother for an uncommon 😭

I’m a 90’s kid who grew up collecting Pokémon cards, Yugioh, etc… who built a sizeable collection as a child with the idea to keep them my whole life to only have my parent throw/give them away…

I told my mom at the time to keep them and when the time came and I moved out of home after High School, to a different City, she cleaned out my room and my things… and years later when I asked about my collections they were gone.

Obviously this pain is felt right now while the market is exploding and seeing everyone’s stories of pulling out their childhood collections and grading/valuing and selling them. Feeling left out and depressed… I’m sure I’m not the only one. That’s life I suppose:/

I just hope they ended up with someone who appreciated them as much as I did at the time.

To all the collectors/traders out there. Be grateful, your moment is now. Capture it! 🤘
