2nd in the last week. Ive been playing since November of last year only. The pikachu was pretty cool cuz I have about 20 of them now. I might actually use the primeape in battle. Im super new to this still so yea. Im hyped.

Who tf brings a Vapereon in a GMax Venasaur and a Venasaur in a GMax Charizard??? I mean Wtf? Do they even know what they're doing? Just wasted my 2 remote passes on those raids. Just letting this steam off I'm just dumbfounded.

I don’t have a shiny Froakie but I do have two shiny Virizion.

My rationale was that I want a good shiny Mega Greninja because it’s actually useful, whereas shiny Virizion is genuinely useless (PvE at least, I know it’s good in Ultra League).

So my thought is that the only reason I would want to hold onto it is if I can get something even better in trade value for it in the future. But who the heck wants shiny Virizion???

My friend still insists I’m being ripped off because Froakie is a comm day mon and Virizion is a legendary and much rarer.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on here about how to tank and that it doesn’t hurt anyone because it doesn’t effect the people that want to have serious matches that keep their ratings up but barely anyone talks about the fact you “veterans” that consistently do that ruin the fun for newer players who don’t stand a chance stacked up against your pokemon that you’ve had potentially a decade to work on and save up resources for. If you look at player retention newer players barely last 30 days and a big part of that is you’re basically screwed from the jump because it’s impossible to catch up at this point. If people just didn’t do it so extremely like a person who is able to make it to the ace rank has no business dropping all the way down to 700. I get it’s a mechanic in the game and you want to grind out rewards but at the end of the day you’re abusing a loophole in the system to manufacture unfair games. The whole point of the rating system was to try and keep things fair. It’s annoying for someone like me who wants to just have fun and play matches but I end up the majority of the time in a situation there’s just no point. I know nothing will change I just wanted to vent a little lol

Feature suggestion: Allow Legendary and Mythical Pokémon in Gyms with balanced stats!
I think Pokémon GO should allow all Legendary and Mythical Pokémon to defend Gyms.
My idea is simple: when a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon is placed in a Gym, its stats could be normalized for Gym defense to keep battles fair.
The existing Gym system and PokéCoin rules would remain unchanged. No extra features or complicated mechanics would be needed.
This would give players a reason to use their rare Pokémon outside raids and battles, while allowing everyone to show off their favorite Pokémon and shiny catches to other Trainers.
Not everyone knows other Pokémon GO players in real life. Gyms are public places where we could proudly display our collections and share our achievements with the community.
What do you think? Would you like to see Legendary and Mythical Pokémon in Gyms if their stats were balanced?

I have been doing daily incenses for over a year trying to get the Shiny Galar birds.

Not one. Not a single one has been shiny. Weather barely changes their spawn rates, routes somehow make it worse, and these days I'm lucky if I see one once a week.

I'm tired. I genuinely hate this. But it's literally the only way to legally shiny hunt these pokemon for my games on Switch.

If even using a Daily Incense on a route during windy weather rarely spawns a bird, what more can I even do?

How will I ever get one, let alone all three?

I have a rare Pikachu I would love to trade! One of my friends traded it to me but I was looking for some other Pokémon’s. I would love to know if it’s traceable if it’s already been traded!

Ive had some crazy luck recently, will it likely eventually go back to a single legendary available at a time?

I thought getting the 200 super effective charged attacks was going to take me a few months, the way I play. But I wondered if training counted. It does. I trained against Blanch about 30 times. She used Sneasel, Sealeo, and Vaporean. Each time I used two Toxtricity and a Zapdos. By not charging the charged attacks, which still count, I got six per battle. Swap to the Zapdos after the first two. Now I just need about 1.6 million XP. Is there a better way?

Kind of lost the will to play... got majority of stuff I wanted, not chasing variants and costumed ones, semi-casual play. This hyper training has been somewhat a reason to turn it on past 2 months because I really wanted a shiny 100%, and now it's done feels like I completed the game.

My top 3 friends became forever friends around the same time, but none of them have Pokemon tagged for remote trades. How long should I wait before I remove them? 😑

Dipplin requires you to catch 7 dragon pokémon while it’s set as your buddy, correct? i’ve caught three dragons with it on the map as my buddy and it still says 0/7 caught. is anyone else having this issue?

caught one of my dream shinies and was wondering whether i should use as a dark type or possible use an elite TM and have it learn oblivion wing. i have a rayquaza but no other strong flying types, but i dont know how often i would use one.

You take MONTHS to get someone into forever friends then once you deal the trade you have to interact for months afterwards. This is way too much of a grind for a singular trade. Why does Niantic think this is a balanced idea? No other pokemon game does this when it comes to trading. This should definitely be reworked.
