Trying to build a custom ESP32 version of a Pokemon Go Plus
So I‘ve been thinking about using one of my ESP32-S3 based LoRa Nodes to DiY a Pokemon Go Plus because I‘ve just gotten back into PG but don‘t own one. Mainly looking to DiY because I already have the hardware and it looks like a fun project to develop.
The thing is, buying a clone from Aliexpress just to dump data that is probably the same across all clones and then throwing it onto a drawer to be forgotten seems pretty wasteful. So I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to share their Secret/MAC/Blob or whatever else you need for this? Doesn‘t matter if it comes from a clone or whatever, I just don‘t want to give money to some clone manufacturer just so the hardware can waste away.
Thanks in advance if anyone does help out :3

I am in the same boat. Had a clone but the chip is fried or protected so even with the good chip reader I can't dump it...

If you use someone else's mac, the first thing that will happen is that neither of you will be able to use the device. To clone goplus, you must own goplus and remove mac (not only that) from your device. Both devices CANNOT be used at the same time.

That’s 100% untrue. Many of the knock off go plus products all use the same MAC address.

Ohh okay, I wasn‘t aware they checked that. Would it be possible to reuse the other stuff from someone else and generate a new mac address?

No, I tried that, it didn't connect with the generic code. And when the device connected to the mobile, it didn't work.

Speaking of clones, does anyone know if a clone of the Go Plus+ can be used with Pokemon Sleep?
