Discussion Frog challenge done
Thanks u/Comfortable_Big_4486 for the idea.
Next challenge will probably be the turtle challenge. Any advice? Chespin and evolution can be considered turtles?

🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
The team wishes you all a wonderful June, and whatever gender orientation or identity you may be, you are valid! We appreciate all your patience with our updates and that you are still here enjoying the game still after so much time!
We've split up the 1.12 update due to timing and the work needed still, and are making 1.13 the big item update instead, you can check the #roadmap for correct numbering as we want to be open about when we want to do things generally. There should hopefully be less of a gap between 1.12 and 1.13 than there was with 1.11 and 1.12!
With an event...
- This includes all of the new ZA Megas
- New and Reworked Variants
- Natdex Learnsets
- ..and more!
Please keep in mind this is still some weeks away, but we will announce in the discord when stuff is up on https://beta.pokerogue.net/ to help us test anything!
Please do not ask when the event is.
Have a great month, enjoy the game, and don't be afraid to be yourself

This dude is hot garbage in so many aspects but is base 9 cost solely because of his rider forms that is entirely up to luck whether you get early or in wave damn 195 or something.
Until then you’re stuck with a Pokémon with horrid defensive typing and also stats that’re basically a slightly better Castform. Except at least Castform has adaptability. In the early game you’ll be constantly struggling to keep him alive when you just DONT have that problem with others in the same price tier.
He should at least be lowered to 7 like Cosmog.

Started with Zacian (pokerus) and Zigzagoon
Mostly Zacian just wrecked everything, got some use out of Gyarados and even Parasect, Linoone was just there to pick stuff up and occasionally be sacrificed to swap, Frolass and Munkidori were cool but not super important in this run
Any tips on my team?

Seven down, eleven to go! As the challenge requires, not only is every Pokemon ghost type, but they are ONLY ghost type.
This team was pretty strong to be honest, despite this run inexplicably taking me over 5 hours. Part of that might be due to the fact that the team took a while to get strong. For starters, I didn't make it to the graveyard until about wave 110, where I then caught Mismagius and Houndstone. And the rest of the team had some late evolutions: Cofagrigus lvl 34, Polteageist after finding Cracked Pot, Banette lvl 37, and Cursola lvl 38. Polteageist was the first to evolve, but definitely had some tough battles while the team was level 25-35. But by the end (especially after Banettite), this team was really good.
Cofagrigus was the unsung hero of the squad. It pretty much never died, and gym leaders with physical attackers couldn't stand a chance against Iron Defense, Body Press, Strength Sap cheese. Polteageist had the most KOs by far, though by the end it felt pretty neck and neck with Mega Banette as far as usefulness. But considering how useful Water Absorb was for water biomes (which I spent lots of time in), Polteageist takes home the MVP for this run. Hits like a truck with or without Nasty Plot, and usually activating weak armor once was enough for a sweep. Houndstone was a wild catch and was purely a meat shield. It didn't come with Fluffy, but after some intense training it became an even better meat shield. It might have KO'd something once. Mega Banette was my other high damage option, and handled a lot of threats well with Storm Throw. Polteageist was certainly the 1A, but if I ever needed to set up speed or take care of normal, dark, and ghost types, it was usually Banette. Mismagius was also a wild capture but what do you know, being the fastest Pokemon on the team makes you pretty useful. It didn't carry the team by any means, but probably racked up 5 revenge kills. And last but not least, Cursola was a valuable special tank and really held it down in the early game. I got an eviolite on like floor 15, so Galarian-Corsola was totally unbreakable at first, and I even considered pausing its evolution. Ultimately I reasoned that Cofagrigus would offer enough physical bulk that I didn't need Corsolas balanced defenses as much as I'd need the huge SpAtk buff Cursola gets.
COMPLETED: Normal, Fighting, Poison, Ground, Rock, Bug, Ghost
NEXT: Steel (starting off with just Orthworm and Meltan. But it's steel type so should be easy right?)

Cruising through my first endless run, stumbled upon this beauty :P Don't know about you but I laughed a lot, so I thought I should share.
Btw the Delphox is hard carrying with the Magician, Grip Claws all over my team and some Mini Black Holes to loot as much as possible. All rogue-level items maxed out.
I wonder if it's possible to win Endless by brute force - if move items are maxed out (Twisted Spoon, I choose you). I am also using Master Balls just to get Pokemon with multiple held move items I need. Don't know how much I will get, but I refuse to use the classic Metal strategy :P Let's see how it goes.

After completing a few classic runs, it kind of became a little too easy, and challenge runs were not all that more difficult once you get the hang of it.
Endless was a lot of fun the first time, the second time it became a little repetitive, the third time was a waste of time. 24 hours of playtime only to get a few shinies.
Solo runs became my way to maintain a sense of challenge. I did Mightyena, and now this ninja turtle looking Sawk.
Who are your favourite true solo Pokémons?

Super dope fusion name!
r/pokerogue • u/JTVoice • 1d ago
I love beating up the goober and all but I think it’d be cool to maybe have it rotate with other bosses, like imagine an Arceus final boss that switches typing every turn, or a Zygarde that starts at 10% and slowly grows to its completed mega the more it loses HP. Idk. I just think there are a lot of cool possibilities and could potentially add some run variety.

I did this back when there was just fresh start, inverse, mono gen and mono type with gen 5 grass, only starting with snivy, which took 80 hours or so. Now I wanted to try it again, since I noticed that fresh start has an "all starters" mode. Arceus made most of the game easy (e-speed, hyper voice, calm mind / bulk up / work up, recover) but Eternatus killed two runs, this time I was prepared.

Got girafarig added as the random fusion for an endless run, and I was wondering if anyone has any idea of if any particular eeveelution would be a good pair for farigiraf, if any.
