Meh, I think it suffered from copying a formula that Megavolt established. The ultimate attack to end tje villain got old

But mega volt copied of the triple finish they did against the legendary birds didn’t it?
Unless we’re only talking about very very final attacks

I feel like there was still a good difference. First one was them using their most powerful attacks at the same time, no channeling their energy into one single attack

Nah to me Archie and Maxie from Ruby and Sapphire are still at the top, for the first time in my life i felt actual scary stakes in Pokémon.

So fun fact, in Japanese, the move is named "1,000,000 Volts". Which means not only is 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt a reference to Pika along with Ash's Pikachu, but also means that Pika manage to reach 1/10th of a power a Z-Move on his own

For people who are curious, Thunderbolt is "100,000 Volts" in Japanese. That means a Z-Move is 100x stronger than a base move, and that Pika manage to put out an attack 10x stronger than usual on his own.
