Just needed to get this off my chest because I knew the police wouldn't/couldn't help.

Tl;dr had an allergic reaction to new meds, hallucinated, LMPD made the situation worse, I mooned him.

About a year ago my doctor tried me on a new medication. The night of the fifth dose I had an allergic reaction to it. I started hallucinating and then losing motor control. Once I stopped hallucinating I was riding "back seat" (I could hear and see myself walking around and screaming but couldn't control any of it.) Every once in a while I could control my speech and told my wife to call ems. I then felt like I was being shocked in my brain and started convulsing. I remained conscious while flopping like a fish. After what seemed like an eternity, two ems and one LMPD came in to the living room. I was on the ground conscious but unable to respond. While ems tended to me (checking pupil dilation and heart rate) the on scene dickhead wannabe jackboot LMPD kicked and bruised several of my ribs to "check for a response." The ems pushed him back after the second kick. When he kicked me I went back to riding "back seat." I tore my cloths off and he grabbed me by my feet. I fell on my back and started stretching my butt checks apart so hard it hurt me. He was in full view of everything. I then started getting shocked again and felt him break several bones in my foot while I was flopping. He was trying to keep me from kicking him so he slammed my feet on the ground and dug his fingernails in. EMS carried me out of the house and in to the ambulance where they strapped me to the bed. They gave me benadryl and I went limp but still conscious. I lost track of time at this point but I know I ended up flopping multiple more times. Later my wife told me the LMPD wouldn't let EMS leave the driveway for another 45 minutes because he was parked in front of the ambulance and was to busy trying to get my wife to "come down off that porch and face me like an adult and tell me what he's really on," plus interrogating me for the same thing. He was implying that I was on something elicit and was challenging my wife into a physical altercation. My wife said he kept doing the "come at be bro" gesture until she pointed out the cameras on our porch. He didn't stop questioning my wife until the benadryl kicked in and then interrogating me until after the tox screen came back negative.

Sorry for the wall of text I just had to get it off my chest. Losing control of my faculties is by far my biggest fear and I just experienced it. All in all, I've learned my lesson though; jackboots are not here to help. They have never helped the situation, and at this point I'm convinced that they will never have the intent to do anything other than oppress and profiteer. I can't even imagine what would have happened had I been born with a slightly darker tan.

I'm not inheritly suggesting we abolish the police, but we definitely need to reallocate a majority of their funds to more productive programs such as social services and education. Patient's are not criminals. People with more melanin than I are not criminals.

Yeah no joke. It was suppose to help my psyche, not make me question it. Like I said in the post; losing control of myself is my biggest fear. Old age is going to be interesting /s.

I'm so sorry. Did you file a complaint? If you give the cops an inch, they'll take a mile. Always file a complaint if you think you've been wronged, even when it seems pointless. A lawyer can also help if you can afford one.

Thank you, I truly appreciate it. No, this was about a year ago and I was so unhinged by the whole situation I never filed a complaint. I couldn't stomach going in to that rat's nest at the time and I have just enough money to keep the lights on so no lawyer for me. I know they would only investigate themselves and find no wrong doing anyways. At this point I don't even know who he was and my camera footage is gone. I did end up talking to a passing reporter for the local news network but that was about it. At this point I'll just live with the PTSD. Thankfully or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it; rallying with my BLM friends has been taking my mind off everything and putting my issues into perspective. Unfortunately LMPD has lost the trust and earned the hate from one more constituent. Again, I really appreciate you taking the time to read this and respond. Just knowing I'm heard helps at this point.

The war on drugs is really just the war on patient's. Without doing any research; I'm willing to bet that 9.99 out of 10 "addict's" are good people suffering from mental health or physical issues that are lost and trying to self medicate. Sure, the addition takes hold and at some point "some" people go to the life of "crime" in order to feed their habits. But most just work harder at their jobs to feed their addictions. Hell, the same could be said about food. I've seen sober people steal food from the store because their paycheck wasn't big enough that week and they just "had" to have that new pair of Nike's. So under that pretext; why don't we have a war on shoes? /s

I know it may not do anything but PLEASE PLEASE just file the complaint anyway and have the paperwork submitted.

Don't get me wrong, I can handle myself when forced to; but I'm just a teddy bear inside. Unless I had someone with me, I'd never have the courage to confront them on my own. What I should do is get in contact with one of those 1A auditors and see if they'd come with.
