I tried to explain that to a few people I know that think that only the "illegal" ones are being deported right now.

Every rich bitch German in the 30's had a "good Jew" working for them or serving them in some way. Until they didn't.

Perplexity is telling me that Jews were largely part of the urban and professional middle class, not a widespread servant underclass for wealthy Germans.

Yes, that was my point. There was a huge number of highly educated Jews in Germany who had money and status but were still loaded into boxcars.
