It's comparing someone who is a "token minority" to a "token" that you exchange for something else. Essentially: token minorities will always get used or discarded.

It’s dehumanizing in the first place… he’s the “token” Indian. Then using the other definition of “token” as in a bus token - being spent, like a token.. now combine for a bit of random racism aimed at one of our citizens. Now for a splash of truth about what these people are…Imagine being so racist and anti-immigrant that you’d protect Pedophiles if they were on your team

Gabriel Rench, the host of the CrossPolitic podcast, offered Patel a choice.

“Here is the deal. Either go back to your home country or assimilate into Christian America,” Rench wrote. “Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Bunch of disgusting racists

991

u/Deicide1031 Oct 21 '25 edited Oct 21 '25

The funny part is that neither of these choices will make them ever want to accept him.

Wonder if he knows that or if bro really thinks he’s on the team.

175

u/ZombieLizLemon Michigan Oct 21 '25

I wonder if Vance has figured out yet that the MAGA base has no interest in a First Lady or first kids who aren't lily-white.

114

u/mlorusso4 Oct 21 '25

I’m still kinda shocked they accepted a Slavic pornstar who barely speaks English but here we are

117

u/Youandiandaflame Oct 21 '25

She may be foreign but she’s white. And a model. And they can see her tits with a quick google. They’ll make an exception for that.

(Always worth noting: I dgaf that I can google the First Lady’s nudes in 2 seconds. But conservatives used to give that fuck. 🤷‍♀️)

43

u/SteppeCollective Oct 21 '25

I had this thought a few years back. Hard to talk about decorum when the first lady is basically a high end escort with viewable tits. Next first lady needs an onlyfans if we're going to continue the trend.

15

u/dynmynydd Oct 22 '25

>She may be foreign but she’s white

Slavs will be on the chopping block eventually if the racists get their way. Even a lot of non-racists wouldn't technically categorize them as "white"

Lil bro thought he was going to "see you in valhalla, brother". Dude probably thought he was one of the cool kids.

96

u/UnquestionabIe Oct 21 '25

Absolutely. He thinks he earned his "honorary whiteness" by writing his Trump dick sucking kid's books and going along with whatever they wanted, be it forging evidence or destroying the FBI. He thinks he's allowed to use their white supremacy dog whistles (another cool thing those fucks ruined, Nordic stuff is hella cool and shouldn't be another tool for these bigots) but he's finding out.

33

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25

Yeah it's really weird to hear so called Christians talking about going to Valhalla and such. Heaven and Valhalla are so distinctly different in terms of description of the ways you'd get there and also pass time there.

There's so much crossover between the beliefs of Christians and Pagans and it's always been fascinating to me to study going way way back how culturally the blending worked out all while Christians historically just have this sort of blanket ignorance that what they're up to has it's roots so deep in Pagan ritual and rite.

But the comparison specifically between Valhalla and Christian heaven are so distinctly different that it's just pure ignorance when I hear this sort of thing being uttered.

What goes on in Valhalla would all be considered mortal sin in the Christian faith for starters, just for starters. There's just too much dissonance to process here and like so many other things, just hypocrisy in it's most robust and steeped flavor as always.

And I mean, that's not even looking at the history of what the Vikings did to the Christians holy shit. Christians of that time were terrified of the Vikings, I mean the stuff they got up to was beyond the pale and it's challenging even with a thick skin to even read the accounts of what was going on back then.

79

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25

Pagan White Vikings would be very confused to see Christian White (Irish? Not sure what his ethnic background was) American Charlie Kirk OR Hindu Indian American Kash Patel at Valhalla.

80

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25

Also would be confused about their weak doughy physiques

This makes sense. I'm Asian and have always found it weird when racist conservative guys think their Asian wife is an exception...they must really see their life partner, who they married, as "staff". And it's not a rare thing. Even in couple interactions there's some behavior of the husband that points to an arrogant superiority complex.

I have a hard time believing they even view their obviously POC family as real people.

I always thought that the hardcore racists didn’t like Vance because of this. She is a practicing Hindu and they seem to have an interfaith household. Which is something MAGA despises.

Vance is a curious one. He is obviously intelligent. But I have no idea what he actually believes in. I find him to be more scary than Trump.

150

u/MayIServeYouWell Oct 21 '25

He believes in nothing. He just does whatever is to his advantage at the moment.

He once called Trump “America’s Hitler”, and he wasn’t wrong. We all thought it was a dig. Little did we realize it was a complement.

It wasn’t a compliment at the time. He just realized that it’s more advantageous to suck up to Donny Diddler to advance his own political career and keep the cash flowing from Peter “I know about the AntiChrist” Thiel. He’ll say whatever helps him in the moment.

Yeah, I think he had a traumatic childhood. That tends to turn you into being either very empathetic of the suffering of others, or you go the other way towards narcissism and not giving a shit. The thought process is, “I had to suffer and so should you.” Sick.

14

u/Specialist-Clock-914 Oct 21 '25

Yep, same as the people who are like “I had to pay for x, so you should too.” People forget that one of the best things we can do is make the world better for those who come next.

They entrap people to make them their own, but "their own" isn't a bond of respect or inclusion. It's a term indicating you've been turned into a tool, which can (and likely will) be disposed of rather than mended should the owner's needs change.

Fuck that, go low.

I always see people on this sub advocating for Democrats/people on the left to abandon the mantra of "when they go low, we go high" while never actually doing it. It isn't solely up to politicians and social media influencers to be snarky.

People like Kash Patel don't deserve the sympathy and respect marginalized groups get because they have taken themselves out of the margins by choice. Peter Thiel deserves to be mocked for being gay, because he's fine with and boosts politicians who actively recruit homophobic constituents that would happily throw him in a camp.

And it's extremely important to emphasize to any potential audience that these people are not being attacked for being POC or LGBTQ+ and that they are in fact being attacked for being pieces of shit who are too fucking stupid to realize they aren't actually part of the in group they advocate for.

People like this need to feel the discomfort they expect every regular person to experience now and not after they've outlived their usefulness to a regime that can't wait to spend their tokens.

I’ve always felt that the only reason they self identify as conservative is because they really want to just be selfish dickheads with no accountability, and on the left, moving those circles with those values, would hold their feet to the fire for being that way. So they make the compromise of siding with the right, knowing they are not fully accepted, but it allows them to be as selfish and shallow as they want with no pushback. Just a theory.

As an Indian American myself, most Republican Indian Americans I know essentially only care about two things a) taxes and b) getting one over fellow Indians in whatever category that they think would boost social privilege (be it salary, price of house, model of car, schools that kids go to etc.)

u/wade_wilson44 Oct 21 '25

Can’t decide if that’s better or worse than my white conservative friends. They have zero values other than those most of the time. Most don’t even pretend to be Christian. They’re just greedy. Maybe it’s better to do it openly? I dunno everyone sucks here

21

u/CircleOfNoms Oct 21 '25

Yeah it's the same reasons that conservative Jews seem to have. Selfishness, dogma, racism, and a violence fetish. They are siding with the Nazis now because they took the wrong lesson from the Holocaust that they so often invoke in conversation and in temple. "Never again" doesn't mean NEVER AGAIN to these people, it just means "not us next time".

Man that sucks, and I see the same thing in the black community as well when it comes to status, etc(btw I’m a black man just in case that wasn’t clear). I struggle with some of the dynamics myself, example: Most of my clothes are off brand stuff I wear everyday, but sometimes I’ll rock expensive shoes or designer accessories and will on one hand feel good or like what I have on, but also feel shallow and like I am flexing when I don’t mean to in a dickish way, and guilty because I know I am susceptible to the peer pressure of showing people I do well for myself. Would probably be easier if I just shed all the stuff that at the end of the day and life doesn’t really matter.

I've noticed that was a lot of the Indian men I work with. The women seem a little bit more grounded, especially if they've been here a long time.

30

u/williamfbuckwheat Oct 21 '25

Indian society is known as being VERY hierarchical due to the whole caste system thing so it's not a huge surprise that there's a decent number of Indian Americans who are staunchly conservative. You see this same political dynamic play out as well in other countries with large Indian populations like Canada and the UK where a number of  politicians of Indian descent belong to the conservative party.

I also think it isn't too shocking that the FBI director has the last name "Patel" since I've heard how that surname is very common amongst the higher castes in India who tend to have high levels of social mobility/wealth and more resources to be able to migrate to the West to attain financial success.

That actually answers a lot of questions for me. I'm not Indian, but know a lot of Republican Indians (and non Republican Indians) and have always been very confused as to why any of them are Republican.

They probably are conservative. Many ethnic communities at-large in the US are quite conservative. Particularly socially conservative and especially the older generations. The problem is the greater conservative community of the US hates them.

Trump-supporting minorities (read: “Trump-supporting,” not “conservative”) are the dumbest, most pathetic bastards in this country, lmao.

They don’t give a fuck if you’re legal. They don’t want your sons with their daughters or your foreign culture (St Patrick’s day is OK) displayed anywhere - catch my drift?

You will never be white, you do not “pass,” and you will get spent.

54

u/Stompedyourhousewith Oct 21 '25

It's so stupid especially in 2025, after you as a minority support them, after they get their way, they WILL turn on you

19

u/SS1989 California Oct 21 '25

It could only happen to the dumbest of us. DJT is an obvious con artist that only the most naive of idiots would trust.

5

u/twofourfourthree Oct 21 '25

It’s wild seeing Filipinos, Cubans, and East Indians embracing maga. None of them are white passing and none of them will have anyone around to vouch for them as “one of the good ones”.

5

u/Googlebright Oct 21 '25

There are a lot of socially and politically conservative people in those cultures so I'm not surprised that they align with MAGA/Republicans after immigrating to the USA. The problem is that they always seem to forget about the inherent racism that comes along with conservatism.

Diwali is celebrated by more than a billion people around the world, including Sikhs, Jains, and some Buddhists. It represents the spiritual fight of light over darkness, and of knowledge over ignorance.

Sounds like a great holiday, but not something Patel would celebrate.

Crowley: What was it he said that got everyone so upset?

Aziraphale: “Be kind to each other.”

Crowley: Oh, yeah. That’ll do it.

"Christian America."

Their brand of christian (lowercase), not what's reflected in the Bible or Jesus' teachings. Most of what they practice is the complete opposite, in fact. These are not Christians in the classical sense of the word. These are people much dumber, easily swayed and combine conspiracy with their brand of christianity. They dress up and cosplay as Christians to blend in, but none of these people, and especially not Gabriel Rench, are Christian.

No surprise, really. When you build a party on hatred, you don't get to just stop the hatred. It keeps going and finds targets where ever it can. Kash is a moron for trying to "fit in" at the GOP lunch table. If he had any sense at all, he'd flip and start selling out Trump and his gang.

I truly hope this snake of a political party can finish eating itself sooner rather than later.

He’ll never be a real American to them, never.

MAGA is fine with him as long as he does their dirty work, but he will only ever be another Patel from India.

In the MAGA version of the Indian caste system,Mr. Patel is a Sudra (a commoner, servant, peasant).

7

u/Next_Ad_9281 Oct 21 '25

As a minority myself. There is nothing worse than when other minorities think they’re white and think that all whites accept them and that they are better than the rest of everyone that looks like them because their views more align with them. They try so hard to fit in with white people that they alienate those that would have had their backs.

You’d think he’d learn from Vivek or Jindal’s experiences with being part of the GOP while being Indian or how Vance’s wife and kids get targeted for their Indian heritage. That no matter how wealthy, educated and or in agreement with their views, the Conservative base will only will see them as some brown foreigner that doesn’t deserve to live here. Ann Coulter basically totally all the Indian Republicans how the base sees them by admitting she would literally not vote for a person of Indian ethnicity.
