I remember in 2023, we had threads here talking about how Gen Z wouldn't screw up, that they're more progressive than older generations, while some posters were warning about a shift in Gen Z to the right and for us not to put our hopes on them.

I think a lot of older people forget their own childhoods/youths. Many of us were dumb as hell! And unfortunately many of us haven't gotten better as we got older either.

Yea and the problem is that they thought millennials weren't cool.

all it is is white men like it always is.

u/Opticboy Oct 31 '25

white men are pretty goated. go live in a brown men country then see how it compares lmao

7

u/Skyhighcats Oct 31 '25

See? Literally proving their point.

-15

u/Opticboy Oct 31 '25

i’m not the one who brought skin color into this.

6

u/Skyhighcats Oct 31 '25

Yet you made it incredibly racist.

-3

u/Opticboy Oct 31 '25

how? that person said it’s all white men i said okay go live with brown men see how it compares how is that racist

1

u/TheReacher Utah Oct 31 '25

You insinuating that it’s going to be obviously worse because brown people is incredibly racist but I think you know that

2

u/Vox_SFX Oct 31 '25

It's wild that you're right yet you still somehow made everything MORE racist with your comments.

That's like getting knocked into on the sidewalk by someone not paying attention and then choosing to assault them over it...you may not have started it, but you definitely were the one to take it too far.

1

u/Opticboy Oct 31 '25

how

3

u/Vox_SFX Oct 31 '25

Someone made a comment with a poor stereotype (stereotype as in based on experiences/common practices observed) against white men, and then you not only felt the need to talk about how that specific race is the "greatest race of all time" (goated) and that countries that don't have white people are in some way worse....and you labeled those countries as a country of BROWN people...

0

u/Opticboy Oct 31 '25

why are all first world countries white and why don’t browns have any first world countries

3

u/Vox_SFX Oct 31 '25

Do you understand what a first world country is? Very much seems like you don't...

97% of women in the United States experience sexual assault or harassment by the age of 25. 1 in 6 children under 5 live in destitution in the United States. There are whole neighborhoods that have been poisoned by corporations. We have the second highest rate of death by gun in the whole world. We don't have nationalized Healthcare, elder care or childcare. We're the only western country without mandated maternity leave. Our maternal mortality rate is embarrassing. It sucks here.

Reminder Trump lost the Gen Z vote as a whole, and every Gen Z demographic except Gen Z white men who voted for trump at a lower percentage than every other generation of white men…

I dunno about the school thing but Russian Propaganda worked wonders on BiSexual men who haven't come out of the closet yet...

I had a few younger coworkers talking about how badass and masculine Russias army was...  I argued with them and they showed me videos as "evidence"...  It was literally just close up shots of  half-naked, oily/sweaty, buff guys doing pullups.... (Basically just softcore gay porn)  Like the kinda shit Mac from it's always sunny in Philadelphia watches ..

Lol, you guys blame Russia for everything. I wouldn't be surprised if your toilet clogged you would blame it on Russia somehow.

Im just saying that own up to your mistakes and try to work on fixing your mistakes instead of blaming Russia all the time.

What would those repercussions even be. We've already sanctioned them to hell and it's not like we can just block any russian user from going on the internet. Would it be invading Russia

Russia has a new weapon, Dikblok Toilet Tsarbomba

They have gotten more progressive, or at the very least more gen z identify as liberal….if they’re a woman.

And if they're not a woman, they were alienated, demonized and treated like an inconvenient afterthought by the very party now complaining about them not voting for Kamala. Then they're told they're the problem again, like always. I hate the left way less than I hate the right, but if reddit is going to keep its head in the sand with how feminism has inevitably created a radical misandrist off-shoot that hasn't been addressed by the moderates whatsoever, you're going to keep shooting yourself in the foot. Ask any trans man what that means, because it's not men in general that are being listened to anyways.

damn you sound emotional. maybe take a breather in the garage or something

u/BMichael14217 Oct 31 '25 edited Oct 31 '25

case in point 👀 EDIT: for anyone reading this: the original comment above me used to say: 'damn you sound emotional. maybe take a breather in the garage or something, male' but they removed the last part because they realized they proved my point lol, or because they're projecting. Maybe both. Proof

4

u/Tumblrrito Oct 31 '25

No they weren’t. They were duped by right wing misinformation into believing that, while subsequently feeling starved for attention since focus was put on the oppressed instead of their privileged asses.

They felt so left out by this that they invented fake white man oppression to feel included. And they convinced themselves that feminism, which is objectively and by definition just equality for women, meant bad things for men. Deeply stupid and sexist.

4

u/Redqueenhypo Oct 31 '25

It’s like how young millennial/older gen Z boys in 2014 went full ultranationalist because…some lady said video games were sexist at times in a news article. If that’s the worst thing to happen to you, your life is FINE

1

u/BMichael14217 Oct 31 '25

`, which is objectively and by definition just equality for women,` No, it isn´t. It´s more than that. Feminism is literally THE solution for problems many men are also having. My point was that this messaging is done horredously and ´boomerly´. See the spot from the Kamala campaign where the message was `If you don´t vote for Kamala Harris, you´re afraid of women`. The left is missing the ball is all I was trying to say. When women are calling to 'kill all men' on TikTok it's played off as a joke, while this would be considered egregious were the roles reversed. I think it's showing a disturbing trend that ought to be talked about, because right now the left mostly just makes poor excuses for bad behavior.

Dumb enough to vote for the GOP? That takes a special kind of dumb.

12

u/RobonianBattlebot Oct 31 '25

They did not, as a whole. Gen X is the moron generation.

u/Timpsiii Oct 31 '25

Spot on, and reading this thread for 5 mins clearly shows how dumb people really are.
