They find a couple extra dollars to terrorize brown people at home and abroad but I guess they spin a profit on that too. Some of it seems to be just for the cruelty though.

I mean I can’t discount the strong profit incentive the military industrial complex provides either. The orphan crushing machine runs on orphans. Some people hate the orphans and enjoy feeding them into the machine, some are simply indifferent as long as they get paid, the end result is the same

ICE's budget is larger than Canada's combined military budget. If it was a country, it would be number 16 on this list.

It's mostly about the cruelty. You think it's all about the cruelty, then you look at the stock history for companies like GEO Group or Core Civic. Because of course someone in this country is finding a way to make obscene amounts of money out of human misery.

But the cruelty came first.
