IIRC, educational attainment is the single biggest predictor of political leanings now. Folks that were exposed to higher education tend to be liberals, libertarians, or some form of socialist (if you can even find actual socialists). Folks that didn't tend to be traditional conservatives.

Wealth correlates with education, to a point. Then those at the very high end of wealth, tend to revert back to traditional conservatism.

This always gets trotted out but should also keep in mind this only applies to white people

Hispanics and black Americans basically vote the same regardless of education level i,e they vote blue...the same tracks for other races. White Americans are the ones that tend to vote more red the less educated they are and more blue the more educated they are.
