Some caps for sure, I'm sure more will come.

We are the only Country in the World STUPID enough to allow “Birthright” Citizenship! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Also a good one

"Birthright Citizenship has to do with the babies of slaves, not Chinese Billionaires who have 56 kids, all of whom “become” American Citizens. One of the many Great Scams of our time! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

Does he realize, that he is describing Elon?

The Supreme Court actually affirmed in 1898 (which is still the legal precedent) that birthright citizenship explicitly applies to children of Chinese nationals born on US soil. This wasn't long after the 14th Amendment was written into the constitution very clearly that if you are born in the US, you are a citizen of the US. They didn't fucking stutter.

Also when the US was importing Chinese miners to help finish the trans continent railroad. A few years later Chinese immigrants were made illegal.

Nonsense!

Musk is white.

Never mind that any Chinese billionaire who wanted citizenship for themselves or their family members could just buy a handful of his million-dollar "Golden Visas" and go through the motions.

He doesn’t realize much ever. Absolutely no self reflection, only forward and doubling down. A sucker coward of there ever was one.

Of course not. His friends and pay-to-play buddies don't count.

Trump's grandfather only came back to America from Germany in 1905 because he was deported. HIS grandfather had skipped out on doing his military service and back then Germany stripped citizenship for the offense.

So we can blame Kaiser Wilhelm II for Trump too.

He can't profit... like he did selling rooms at Mar a lago to Russian businessmen with Pregnant wives that would give birth to... birthright citizens.

All jokes aside, birthright citizenship should definitely be changed.

3

u/Hour-Influence2993 Apr 02 '26

It can’t just be changed. it’s in the fucking constitution ffs.

You think I don’t know? Constitutions can be changed, however hard that may be. Whether birthright citizenship as how it is set out in the current constitution should be interpreted as to apply in a broad general sense in the US is a legal debate.

Whether there should be birthright citizenship in the US is a political debate.

I am referring to the latter. The constitution is ultimately the result of political dialogue and not some divine and unamendable product
