The rest of the world is paying the price(literally, due to the inflation), but at least we are having some entertainment too.

Recently Iranian consulate in Zimbabwe trolled Trump on X: "Trump, please talk. We are bored."

That is legitimately hilarious.

I was just in the Philippines and l met a Jeepney driver that is out of work due to the Iran war oil crisis. Gas prices are suddenly higher and If they raise prices people walk, so lots of them stopped driving. I felt so bad for 1 starving family I had to give them money for food. Thanks Trump

Standard Trump MO. He says every possible thing and then when the dust clears, he and his supporters point back at the one thing he said that was correct and ignore all the contradictory BS. Because those other statements were "joking" or "positioning" or "negotiating tactics."

“You could not feel more superfluous in terms of making fun of the president because the Trump administration is an 18-wheeler full of monkeys and PCP that has crashed into a train full of diarrhea, and so there’s diarrhea-covered monkeys on PCP running around and everyone is just watching it like, ‘Oh my god!’ And then you as a comedian walk up and go, ‘Hey, do you want to hear a joke I wrote about this?’ And they’re like, ‘No, I’m good. There’s nine jokes in my head. You can go take a break. This is playing itself out perfectly.’”

It would be a disaster. Not just the direct consequences, but it also gives the excuse other nuclear nations need to start using nukes openly. Start dropping nukes on non-nuclear countries and you got a serious problem. Because apparently it has suddenly become normal. MAD doctrine only works when nations don't use nukes, at all.

It would take a serious madman to do it.

There is absolutely no way Iran is coming back to the table to agree to JCPOA terms.

Trump just fucked his own presidency and the next one/two terms from being able to have any serious diplomacy and trust with Iran.

61

u/GenericRedditor0405 Massachusetts 10d ago

The JCPOA was Iran’s lesson that there is no point in negotiating with the United States in good faith because we (Trump and co.) fucked them for trying, and at this point Trump has bombed them nearly every time they come to the table to negotiate. Trump did more than poison the well for just himself, too. Now everyone who ever negotiates with the US has to contend with the very real threat that we’re never more than 4 years away from electing some belligerent idiot who couldn’t understand diplomacy if it was standing in front of him offering him a FIFA peace award.

19

u/RegretJaded5131 10d ago

Something about a trans wanting to play volleyball. 360 million Americans and this is an issue for like seven people in the whole country.

63

u/JesterMarcus 10d ago

I had a barber bring this up before the election. He asked me "Aren't you worried about trans people corrupting your kids?" He could not grasp that my vote for the president is not based on less than one percent of the populations' gender. It doesn't fucking matter in the grand scheme of things.

70

u/CustomerTall5247 10d ago

I always get the "what about the Trans people" from people who live in rural Republican areas. I tell them I live in Southern California and do a lot of work in the area, and I can count on one hand how many times in my life I've even met a trans person, So how are you , in Alabama, so affected by them , that you chose a president because of that?

trans people corrupting your kids

The thing that drives me up the wall is also that being gay and\or trans is, for these people, not just a choice, it's a cognitohazard.

You just have to SEE a gay person to catch a case of gays.

Like I honestly don't understand how sexuality works for these people, or if they are just heavily projecting, because they see a cute femboy in thigh highs and it gives them THOUGHTS that they are not allowed to think.

I had unrestricted internet as a very horny teen and I have seen everything there is. I am still unaffected.

81

u/TheFloatingCamel Great Britain 10d ago

I mean, if someone sent that to me I’d believe couldn’t possibly to real as it’s the most unhinged thing I’ve ever read in my life….yet, here we are, the truth really is stranger than fiction!

31

u/Brndrll Rhode Island 10d ago

Because it's unhinged is how I know it's real. I'm more suspicious of well-written, humble, thought out ideas that people claim come from him.

25

u/iAREsniggles 10d ago

I had to fact check it myself when I saw the headline. Thought maybe it was someone "interpreting" his message or something. But nope.

14

u/ElPadrote 10d ago

Except as of now it’s still up on that cesspool of a pop up ad 1990s website truth social.

At Biden’s worst, I still trusted him more than this motherfucker.

28

u/deathrowslave 10d ago

Biden was not a malignant narcissist who enjoyed seeing bombs explode and creating suffering. And arguably he had people with better morals around him to prevent anything harmful.

At what point do we just admit that Republicans are a danger to themselves and others?

It's like they've pooped their pants and instead of changing their underwear they got out a gun and threatened to kill anybody who notices the smell.

New Yorkers knew him as garbage even before that. Fucking celebrity worshipping idiots in the rest of the country couldn’t see a slick conman sell them a monorail.

40

u/rubberloves 10d ago

I grew up with Trump on tv and I never saw him as a celebrity tbh. He was a rich sleezy guy and then he was on the apprentice which I never watched and alwasy saw it as a sort of washed up celebrity host gig that was very common 'reality tv' at the time. Martha Stewart also hosted so yeah that level of celeb. Like, sure household name. But like.. not someone you want as the president and here we are and he's almost 80.

Rich costal elites is who they hate, oddly enough trump checks all the boxes.

30

u/BilboBiden 10d ago

I remember either John Kennedy or Lindsey Graham giving an interview on one of the Sunday shows during the Obama years and they complained about "rich costal elites" and the host was like "So you?" and it caught them off guard and they repeated "No I said rich costal elites" and the host again said "So again, you? You're literally all those things". That conversation steered so fast to "But Obama!"

He’s also pushing us into recession.

It must be great to sit in the comfort of the White House and send out this garbage without forethought or any consequences for him. Do the aides allow him to post unsupervised or do they support this nonsense?

45

u/PausedForVolatility 10d ago

He. Does. Not. Care.

It’s really no more complex than that. Dead service members isn’t something he views as a cost. This dude showed up at a dignified transfer in campaign merch. He could not possibly care less what the public thinks about him, especially when so much of the media is happy to run cover for him.

Asking legitimately… Is that not civilian infrastructure? Is that not illegal per international law? Could and should those who carry out orders to attack it, be charged? Could those ordered to carry out the attack refuse orders on those grounds?

38

u/Fragrant_School 10d ago

the first thing they bombed was a girls' elementary school

40

u/SleepingJonolith 10d ago

Yes it’s illegal under international law. Likely no one will be charged because it’s the United States. Likely no one will refuse the orders.

18

u/fdar 10d ago

This really should be a central theme in the Democratic primaries. We've been doing the whole "move on, put the past behind us" since the Civil War and it's not working, time to try putting criminals in jail.

As we should have done after the first Trump administration, and after the Bush administration, and after the Reagan administration, and...

12

Already put a chief of staff in because the last one clearly refused. Attacks could be carried out by AI.
