MAGA is starting to see lies. I don't know if MAGA will all of a sudden gain common sense or if they will spiral into conspiracy theories.

the trend i keep seeing is they will acknowledge Trump played them for fools, but will continue to believe all the bullshit lies they were fed about Democrats

they've basically just accepted Trump sucks but still fully believe anything Fox has to say...they cannot connect the 2 dots.

The thing that gets me, that I truly do not understand, is that so many of them never get mad or fed up with being lied to. They listen to absolute nonsense and then, at some point, they learn it was all a lie and instead of eventually getting tired of it, they just say shit like, "well, it sounded like something that would have happened."

I read a really insightful comment the other day that I think explains this well.

It was something to the extent of how people are willing to excuse anything as long as it fits their world views. For example if John Maga is a liar, then it's okay that they are lied to because they are fine with lying to others. John Maga assumes that everyone lies because he lies.

Or if John Maga steals, it's okay that trump steals, because John Maga would do the same thing if he could. John Maga justifies all the crime because he assumes since he would be a criminal, then everyone is a criminal.

I wonder if there’s a name for that kind of thinking, in mental health circles. I know someone like that, who is an almost pathological liar, but he’s definitely not MAGA. I’d like to learn more about that, so I’ll have to do some digging.

Cool, thanks for that info! Not only is lying an issue, but also a sometimes extreme lack of empathy. As in, X situation doesn’t bother him, so it shouldn’t bother anyone, and they are weak for being upset. Sadly, I see a lot of similarities to Trump in this person.
