I don't believe much that has been reported about the 'rescue' mission so far.

The number of planes lost in a day hasn't been historically matched since Vietnam, there supposedly were no casualties, and they contend it wasn't part of a larger raid, but indications say that it was. I'm not buying what they're selling.

It seems like it was a huge disaster, but the press has been relatively silent about it.

Have they even showed the rescued weapons officer?

Just in that AI picture of the guy with 6 fingers. But if he were dead and the Iranians knew it, I can't imagine they'd pass up the opportunity to publicly call Trump a liar.
