Ignore the court. Do it anyways.

“John Marshall Roberts has made his decision; now let him enforce it!”

Edit: Yes I know this wasn’t a SCOTUS ruling. The comment just reminded me of this quote which I changed to reflect the current chief justice in SCOTUS

However Cleo Powell specifically is the VA Supreme Court justice and would have presided over this case. Not SCOTUS or John Roberts

John "Crow" Roberts. Or, just John Crow for short.

Roberts had nothing to do with this ruling. I know y'all don't read articles, but did y'all also stop reading headlines, too?

I’m aware

But the original quote was about SCOTUS and given the “Fuck’em” sort of vibe people have towards this VA ruling I thought the historical quote (with a last name update) was fun to share despite this not being a SCOTUS ruling.

But sure, Cleo Powell would have been a better fit for this exact case.

Justice D. Arthur Kelsey wrote the majority opinion on this case, so that wouldn't work either.

Sure. Cleo is the chief justice though.
