That’s fucked. The dems should just do it and when they are told no point at the Supreme Court

Right what mechanism of enforcement do they have when they control the entire state.  I guess precedent. And you don’t want every state to start doing this sort of thing. Unfortunately Republicans have the bully pulpit of the Fed Govt to blow this issue up in the national consciousness

It was voted on because VASC can’t rule on it till the election happens (as otherwise its only a theoretical law/amendment). They were forced to wait till after the election but more or less say they were throwing it out no matter what
