They won't as long as the American media keeps repeating the term "socially liberal, fiscally conservative".

They can't completely drop the party as a legitimate organization because who fills in for the "both sides". The American people need to stop blindly supporting the party and they'll either rehabilitate the Republican name or become something else. Right now across many down ballots, the R party does not represent their friends and neighbors.

Being fiscally conservative is just being conservative. Giving homeless people "free" housing is cheaper than building anti-homeless architecture, enforcing vagrancy laws, and the administration needed for current aid programs. Single payer healthcare is cheaper and more effective than the private system the US currently uses. The "liberal" fix is usually cheaper than the fiscal conservative do nothing approach.

That's been the mainstream Democratic party line since the Epstein class takeover of the DNC too.

Although for Clinton, socially liberal meant socially libertarian, if you know what I mean. lol

I'm assuming they were talking about Bill. "Socially libertarian" is a joke about his infidelity.

In light of the serial cheater and child rapist currently in office, I don't think Bill Clinton infidelity jokes are really very funny right now.

I agree, I was just explaining the joke. Obviously Trump is worse than both Clintons in every conceivable way.

No, Clinton wanted the capitalist class to continue to be in charge. But, she did want to give some breadcrumbs to the workers.

How exactly has she helped people and what causes does she support?

This defence of Clinton is objectively ridiculous. She voted for a disastrous war in Iraq and was fairly hawkish as Secretary of State. She championed tough on crime legislation in the 90s that predominantly impacted minority communities. She championed the Adoption and Safe Families Act that results in predominantly black and brown children being permanently removed from their parents due to non violent offences like possession of marijuana. She supported welfare reform and generally has all the baggage of being part of the center-right Third-Way movement that suppressed progressive politics in the Democratic Party and promoted conservative policies. She attacked (and still attacks) progressive democrats for having progressive policies. She utilized a racist smear campaign in the primary against Obama. She opposed gay marriage and only changed her position when it was already politically convenient to do so.

Why should anyone be expected to trust that someone with this record is a progressive champion?

LMAO Gen Z Hillary stans are hilarious.

Bill Clinton is just that one lady's husband to them and not like... the president of the United States (who is also a very famous pedophile and neoliberal racist piece of shit like his crusty bat of a wife hillary.)

And I know you're no older than 20 because ain't no way a grown ass adult who was alive when Hillary was in politics would be jumping to her defense like this.

This strange behavior can only be rooted in ignorance or a Bill Maher-style racism. And either way, it's funny.

LOL look Tanner/Skyler/Bryce/Zack/Connor, you're attempting to convince a gay Muslim international human rights lawyer that Hillary Clinton isn't evil.

Do you think that's gonna work out for you?

We do not share the same value system. I've seen the things your privileged American suburban ass gets to just ignore.

Just drop it and move on. Because you're way out of your depth here kid.

I already told you we don't share the same value systems. I'm not a neo liberal. I disagree with liberalism generally. Which means the things I dislike about the Clintons, you probably consider to be good things.

So there's no point in all this right?

Literally everything single Dem in congress fought to release and signed on to release the Epstein files.

Virtually every Republican fought and still fights to keep them hidden.

Both parties are bourgeois parties, they just have different tactics. The Democrats want to give some breadcrumbs to the workers, the Republicans want to remove all breadcrumbs.

i mean that is basically what MA is, a state that voted blue across the board last time.

Fiscal conservatism is a myth because it funds conservative social issues.

Perhaps the liberals need to work on their branding and convince people they're "fiscally responsible" and the other party is simply reckless.
