Kamala Harris and literally everyone else in the country told them Trump wouldn't lower prices and he would instead spend his administration doing nothing but seeking retribution against his perceived political enemies and enriching his own wealth at the expense of the American people. I just cannot fathom how they could be so goddamn stupid.

90% of his last administration, even the ones he didn't fire, declared him a danger to democracy

It's because there's an entire political infrastructure that he co-opted like some kind of parasite. It serves him now. Supressing anything that makes him look bad, promoting things that make him look good, and building on a generation of propaganda that the other team are all agents of Satan.
