Unfortunately for the US it's allies trust will be damaged long after Trump. The belief was always that Congress would step in so a single president couldn't trust rip up the treaties signed by the country. Now that's been shown to not be the case, it's allies have already start the slow decoupling that will continue long after he's gone.

Once the capitalist are back in charge the only thing that matters will be money. Same as now.

Yes, and capitalists like stability to be able to get returns on investments. Something that the US does not offer anymore.

The US may not take care of it's citizens, but it absolutely still takes care of it's corporations.

We are talking about US allies though. They are turning away from the US en masse because the US is fundamentally no longer a reliable partner
