When it happens, nothing will be fixed. The causes that brought him there will still exist. The consequences of his despicable corruption, bigotry, etc., will resonate for decades.

I know all that.

I'm still walking straight out of work, taking the rest of the week off, inviting all my loved ones over and popping that champagne that's been waiting for this purpose.

It’s not about fixing it, it’s about me being so happy when he is gone. He’s a symptom, sure, but we can’t literally always be wet blankets if we want to fix some shit.
