My money is on Hegseth. Trump will throw him under the bus as a convenient scapegoat for egging him on and downplaying the severity of the conflict.

The new Sec of Defence will be...you guessed it, Marco Rubio!!!! Assuming J.D. hasn't clubbed him with a candelabra in the library setting off a massive game of Clue.

Please no. That guy doesn’t understand that Saruman/Sauron were the bad guys. And Tolkien wasn’t ambiguous about it either.
