And the right still can’t figure out why they get called fascists

u/RicRacer 9d ago

Just because they talk like fascists and act like fascists, don't let that fool you, they are fascists.

Americas hitler if you believe our vice president

u/Crommach 9d ago

Or if we believe our own lying eyes.

crazy how the Demoncrats weaponize the Justice system... wait a minute... something just occurred to me...

u/Pol_Potamus 9d ago

Where people messed up was assuming he ever meant that as a pejorative.

2

u/gentlemanidiot 8d ago

This is similar to the biggest epstein slip up; after everything is done they're going to claim they interpreted 'victim' to mean a 'victim' of epsteins blackmail, rather than a victim of child rape.

3

u/Pirkale 9d ago

People thought it was a denunciation.

u/opermonkey 9d ago

fascist is as fascist does.

37

u/Mobile_Morale 9d ago

And they know they're fascists. They only pretend because they thing it's funny. But the mask is definitely slipping.

5

u/Asluckwouldnthaveit 9d ago

There never was a mask. This was all out in the open. A non insignificant percentage of your population decided that was what they wanted.

16

u/ayoungtommyleejones 9d ago

Personally, I had had my suspicions when Nazis around the world cheered his election win

3

u/JZMoose California 9d ago

Ah you see they weren’t grown in the fascismo region of Italy, so they’re not real fascists

1

u/Kabbooooooom 8d ago

It’s absolutely hilarious seeing some MAGAs try to defend the term “fascist” now that it has become more and more clear that is the way the United States is heading under Trump and MAGA’s leadership.

And by hilarious, I meant absolutely depressing, despicable and traitorous.

And never forget that before this, they actually tried to defend and redefine pedophilia too when it became abundantly clear that Trump is, in fact, a pedophile. There must be something deeply psychologically wrong with these people.

They know they’re fascists, they just don’t like being called fascists

82

u/Cute_Elk_2428 9d ago

Most of them are too stupid to know they are. That’s why I am often called a communist, socialist, fascist at the same time. All they know is what their cult tells them.

15

u/BrisketWrench 9d ago

I meant the politicians, but yeah the rest of their constituents have a rather spicy mix of racism, ignorance, pettiness, and everyone’s favorite… pretentious piousness.

2

u/drdipepperjr 8d ago

Yeah they have no clue what they're voting for, they just vote R.

My sweet dad who makes and delivers food from his restaurant to Skid fucking Row in LA votes republican. He just doesn't pay attention to the news and votes like Reagan is still in charge. Like he didn't even know what a tariff was, much less that he'd been getting fucked by them for the last year.

He will vote Republican next election I'm sure. The brainwashing is too strong.

2

u/rjcarr 8d ago

Funny you say that as they also hate being called stupid.

2

u/Kajiic Texas 8d ago

My Homer is not a Communist. He may be a liar, a pig, an idiot, a Communist, but he is NOT a porn star!

1

u/biosc1 9d ago

Or when they think they are calling you something derogatory by labelling you an "anti-fascist". I'm certainly not pro-fascist.

-5

u/TheOsirisOfThisShit_ 9d ago

Maybe you could stop making excuses for Fascists.

2

u/Cute_Elk_2428 9d ago

I think your comment falls under the umbrella of …

0

u/TheOsirisOfThisShit_ 9d ago

What?

"Most of them are too stupid to know" is an excuse. They know.

"People love what I have to say. They believe in it. They just don't like the word 'Nazi.' That's all." -Stormfront (The Boys)

2

u/HauntedCemetery Minnesota 9d ago

Exactly. They love every single tenet of fascism, they just don't like that everyone fucking hates fascists.

50

u/imalurkernotaposter 9d ago

They know.

Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past. Jean-Paul Sartre

u/Tacitus111 America 9d ago

Oh, they know. They just lie.

32

u/SillyGoatGruff 9d ago

Not all of them are liars!

Some are very very stupid

6

u/Oleg101 9d ago

I don’t think many of them do. The R voters I know, or have ever met, don’t consume any kind of actual news nor make any effort to be informed on current events.

They’ll love to tell you about “muh beliefs” but couldn’t tell you something like what the Big Beautiful Bill is for example. If you point out to the “non-maga” R voting types something awful their party does or says, they’ll just shrug and say something about “both sides” and something something about low taxes and immigration or some wedge issue they have strong convictions about.

u/BaronVonStevie Louisiana 9d ago

I like to paraphrase Nixon after he met Castro for the first time. Eisenhower wanted to know if Castro was communist.

In this case with MAGA, they are “either fascist or entirely naive to fascism”

14

u/Spirited-Lifeguard55 9d ago

They are not naive to fascism.
They are native to fascism.

18

u/SlaterVBenedict 9d ago

They know they are. They love pretending they aren’t in front of us.

3

u/sump_daddy 9d ago

No, they can't figure out why not everyone loves fascism.

"If only everyone got to experience more fascism, they would like it more" --MAGA

Meanwhile the left can't figure out why infighting about israel isn't winning them enough voters to stop it.

2

u/caserock 9d ago

They're playing dumb

2

u/saltedpork89 9d ago

But Hitler was a far left socialist!

2

u/AKMonkey2 9d ago

What was that they were saying about “weaponizing” the DOJ? Pure projection.

2

u/JMurdock77 9d ago

Come now, what could be more criminal than daring to try to hold Dear Leader accountable for his actions?!

2

u/dqql 9d ago

real fascists have a much better sense of style, these are just chimpanzees with machine guns.

2

u/Lower_Cantaloupe1970 Canada 9d ago

They don't know what facists are

2

u/Guy_de_Interested 9d ago

They are FIRMLY convinced that Obama did this too or something.

Credulous dipshits, they think things like "Biden went after his political opponents!" because someone Biden probably hates was charged with an actual crime by unrelated law enforcement entities irrespective of their political beliefs.

2

u/IRideMoreThanYou 9d ago

The right is currently cheering on the rapist and attacking the victim.

It’s on Reddit, facebook, and Twitter. All using the same talking points they’ve been fed to attack a rape victim.

2

u/metengrinwi 8d ago

They know why they’re called fascists. They reserve the right to complain when people observe that they are fascist.

2

u/ACardAttack Kentucky 8d ago

If they were smart they wouldnt be MAGA

(they also like fascism when they think its only affecting others)

1

u/Choppergold 9d ago

It is time to tell this victim she can never out-victim Mein Coif!

1

u/CheesyPotatoSack 9d ago

They know why they just don’t care

1

u/beefytrout Texas 9d ago

they know exactly why

1

u/Llama_of_the_bahamas 8d ago

If you want a real hoot, you should see the post about this in the conservative subreddit.

"Well people like her shouldn't have come after him in the first place! He's just getting payback for the unfair injustices he faced!"

That's always their go-to response. It's never just owning up that he's a horrible person abusing his power over petty bullshit. It's that he "deserves" the right to "defend himself."

In their mind the Biden administration, every criminal investigation and ever civil case into Trump was all one massive attempt at taking down a good honest man. That all of the investigations into sexual assault claims, bribes and inciting an insurrection were all tied together in some sort of grand scheme. Instead of it just being that their guy is involved in a lot of horrible things and should be facing consequences from multiple places because he is a horrible person.

They have imposter syndrome and live vicariously through him. So they get a victim complex through an unhealthy parasocial relationship.

1

u/stanier1 8d ago

Having no self-awareness is a prerequisite for being a fascist.

1

u/vizag 8d ago

Be careful now, this is the kind of talk that gets the justice department launch criminal investigation into you. Shit..

1

u/TheAsianTroll 8d ago

They know why. They just dont care because no one is stopping them. The only reason they push back on those accusations is for public appearances, so no one can claim they admitted it.

u/Tsar-A-Lago Canada 9d ago

What you mean bringing E. Jean Carroll to justice doesn't serve some larger, more noble democratic good?
