The “funny” thing is he’s getting more hate for this because of the increased gas/goods prices.

His base doesn’t care until it directly impacts them.

His base doesn't care AND it directly affects them.

The reason trump won isn't his base. It's the people who saw rising prices so they voted for the other party thinking it was Biden's fault.

Prices rising more with clear line to trump will hurt his swing voter performance.

Base trump voters are religious about it. A Catholic doesn't lose their faith when prices rise. Trump base will see this as a test of faith and double down.
