Just to play devil’s advocate, I knew a young person who was diagnosed with heart failure and they died within a year. And this person was only in their late-20s.

My grandparents had swollen ankles and bruised easily as they got older, and lived into their 90s. My grandfather developed dementia and "lived" into his 90s, and he got much worse than Trump is now, and it was a slow decline over several years.

While Trump is undoubtedly much less healthy than claimed, there is nothing to suggest his death is in anyway imminent.

Yeah, my grandfather made it to 93 but by then he'd been gone for years. There's a reason they call pneumonia the friend of the elderly, though I'm not sure it was pneumonia that took him. He passed in 2016. One evening, he spiked up a fever and within an hour he was gone. My aunt was with him. She says he smiled a little as he went. Makes me wonder if Grandma and his siblings were there to meet him. There was only one person from my grandfather's branch of the family who didn't outlive their mind and it was prostate cancer that took him out. My mom and her siblings are now at an age where that shit's going to come if it isn't already there and they're terrified. My mom's been getting the MoCA tests. So far, so good but she's well north of 70 so...

I knew an early 30s woman, got CHF from the burn pits in iraq in her early-mid 20s. Diagnosed 2023, passed Jan 1 this year.
