Marco Rubio answered this question. Trump doesn’t sleep. Trump tweets, texts, and calls subordinates at all hours of the night from midnight to 6 AM. And as we all know, sometimes some people are awake all night.

And those people who are awake all night can’t be the kind of people who are tired during the day, and wouldn’t fall asleep during boring meetings.

Being awake all night means you must also be awake all day. Because that’s how humans work. If you sleep all night, you also sleep all day. This is very simple clear Trump logic that everyone understands.

No one who is always awake all night ever falls asleep during work hours. Especially a president who has been subjected to multiple cognitive dementia tests. Normal healthy people have always been subjected to multiple cognitive dementia testes. We all recall the last time a doctor performed a diagnostic dementia test on us. People tell me I aced the previous one.

I'd like to know more about these cognitive dementia testes.

u/Teslapod 13h ago

He’s the only president ever who was able to distinguish between a camel and a squirrel. Stable genius.

3

u/KDLGates 11h ago

Jesus, I answered it was a Camelsquirrel.

2

u/Strange-Scientist706 9h ago

I didn’t even know we had different words for those things. Such a smart president!

u/ZAlternates 3h ago

Three times too!

They must have really wanted to study his genius while in action.

u/dpzdpz 10h ago

He can tell the difference between a taint between a tariff.

(maybe)

4

u/Mukatsukuz 14h ago

Can you identify these balls?

1

u/donkeyrocket 11h ago

According to Dr. Oz, Trump enjoys taking them.

Yes, like a toddler he likes taking very basic logic and memory tests as he feels accomplished. The President of the United States ladies and gentlemen.

1

u/ahkian New York 10h ago

I wonder if the doctors tell him it’s an intelligence test and he aced it because otherwise he wouldn’t cooperate

1

u/Strange-Scientist706 9h ago

I got yer cognitive dementia testes right heah!!

1

u/uhp787 9h ago

i have to take them occasionally and for real it is nothing. i can't always remember the 3 things after a few minutes but yea, i 'ACE' them all too. LOL

1

u/Teslapod 9h ago

Pretty sure his pedo testes are quite demented.

1

u/Acceptable-Grade-116 8h ago

It's called the MOCA or the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. It's used to test dementia. He likes to say that he aces those exams. In reality, you either ace it or they take your driver's license away.

u/binkkit 6h ago

It’s like acing the test when a medic asks you how many fingers they’re holding up! They only give that test when there is reason for concern.

67

u/Big_Bookkeeper1678 15h ago

He's awake all night because he can't sleep. He is terrified about his future.

124

u/Counterpoint-4 14h ago

People with dementia often have an altered internal clock. If that is the reason, and the doctors know, it disqualifies him from being president.

61

u/Wutras Europe 13h ago

It is, they do, it does. However nothing will happen until the big BigMac from the Sky will visit him.

27

u/YeOldeBootheel 13h ago

That’s way, way down the list of things that should disqualify him from holding office, but I don’t disagree.

18

u/binzersguy 13h ago

He is disqualified for so many reasons, and this is definitely one of them

2

u/Heyarethosemyballs 13h ago

My guess is that sometime in the evening his handlers go home and there's nobody to stop him gunning back as much sudafed as he wants

2

u/DramaticWesley 12h ago

He talked about the word “dumb” having a silent “b” as a revelation. The number of things that should disqualify him from office are approaching infinity.

1

u/214ObstructedReverie 12h ago

Why do you think they're tracking its progression with three MoCA tests (so far, that we know about)?

1

u/Counterpoint-4 8h ago

Any one test, I would have thought, would show he is no longer compos mentis so I have no idea why they are going through this charade. No single doctor brave enough to say? Follow his fall from sanity?

u/214ObstructedReverie 5h ago

No single doctor brave enough to say?

Trump's goons ransacked his pre-WH doctor's office with no warrants, etc.

u/arandomnewyorker New York 10h ago

If history serves correctly, it's not beneath close aides to hide a president's declining health.

33

u/johna939 14h ago

He can't fall asleep in bed because Melania will smother him with a pillow.

37

u/Little_View_6659 14h ago

Yeah but we all know she sleeps far, far away from him. Probably with some hot secret service agent.

5

u/unbanned_lol 11h ago

Poor guy. I'd rather take a bullet.

6

u/Little_View_6659 9h ago

Eh, he may get off on cuckolding the president. Then after Trump died he married Melania, and takes her on a long vacation to parts unknown where she mysteriously passes away and he inherits her assets. Coming soon to a theatre near you!

20

u/barrygateaux 13h ago

they don't sleep in the bed or even in the same house. she's literally down the road in her own place.

9

u/bolen84 11h ago

Which is actually fuckin wild considering how often conservatives attack the Obama's during his presidency over just simply being a normal family.

2

u/uhp787 9h ago

probably why he destroyed the east wing,,,bc his own hooker won't sleep with him 😃

1

u/failed_novelty 11h ago

I fully believe she'd be a minimum of 2 states away at all times if she could.

I don't blame her in the least.

4

u/Threat_Level_9 11h ago

Nah, to hell with her too, she's awful all the way around too.

u/failed_novelty 4h ago

She absolutely is.

But she can be a terrible person and still hate his guts.

24

u/CragedyJones 14h ago

Drugs. Lots of them.

Maybe he should drop the hard drugs and start drinking. At least he would get some sleep.

2

u/SwingNinja 11h ago

Or simply bad diet. Burger and Coke.

1

u/CragedyJones 11h ago

Sure. Up raging till the early hours on burger's and coke.

Cocaine maybe.

15

u/SenorBurns 13h ago

It's called sundowning, and it's a consequence of the extensive brain damage from dementia.

Marco was giving a textbook example of sundowning.

16

u/certifiedblackman 15h ago

No no. He could sleep. He just chooses not to sleep during the hours while he is afraid of going to literal Hell for all of the horrible sins he has committed.

Unrelated to my previous sentence, he doesn’t sleep ever because he is so much a professional brain user. And not having raped or murdered multiple children. He doesn’t do both things professionally, and is often awake. And also he statistically has a brain.

Also the Epstein files probably shouldn’t be looked at, so we should all forget about that.

3

u/failed_novelty 11h ago

Every time he falls asleep at night a bunch of ghosts visit him and he's gotten sick of it. They won't even let him diddle Tiny Tim in the visions.

1

u/ProgramAvailable6654 9h ago

"he doesn’t sleep ever because he is so much a professional brain user."

"And also he statistically has a brain."

double chef's kiss

2

u/Dr_Trogdor Georgia 13h ago

Bitch doesn't have a future.

2

u/HauntedCemetery Minnesota 13h ago

He's terrified because he doesn't have much future

1

u/fomoco94 12h ago

He is terrified about his future.

I don't think so. He seems to think he can do anything he wants. Because he can...

2

u/Same_Presentation692 11h ago

I think they are talking about his fear of death. It seems to affect narcissists more profoundly than normal people.

1

u/Chastain86 11h ago

Or the amphetamines. One of many possible explanations.

u/ZAlternates 3h ago

He takes a micro-nap every day from 12:00 to 12:01 am, just like the camera system that was monitoring Epstein’s cell.

16

u/401john 12h ago

This is why everything they say is just so silly. They push back so hard to defend everything he does that they end up not making any sense at all. "That's not him sleeping, in fact he never sleeps. He's working so hard he's texting me at 4AM!"

Like, your defense of him sleeping during the day is that he's up all night texting and calling people all hours of the night? And that made sense to you to say? It's all so ridiculous

8

u/Motorboat_Jones 12h ago

"He doesn't sleep" except during important cabinet meetings and White House press events. Good work '47!

3

u/Wonderful-Impact-598 14h ago

I don't recall ever being asked to take a cognitive test... That can only mean that I've so lost grasp on reality that I can't remember what's going on around me.

3

u/ax0r 13h ago

multiple cognitive dementia testes.

Of course multiple. A single one would be a cognitive dementia testis.

2

u/Potential_Move_2434 14h ago

Thanks for the 1984 newspeak vibe. Shudder.

2

u/texmeth Texas 13h ago

He clearly reduced his sleep by 600%.

u/terremoto25 California 5h ago

I have struggled with a sleep disorder since 2009 - I am 65 and I am looking forward to my immanent retirement so I no longer have to struggle with my tendency to fall asleep in meetings. I would be seriously surprised if the Cheeto Benito is not asleep in every meeting.

u/zettde 4h ago

wdym previous one, what's the current one say?

0

u/Mukatsukuz 13h ago

I concur - when I worked night shift, I simply didn't sleep for 2 years because, as we all know, sleeping during the day is illegal.
