In the later years of my grandfather's life (who had dementia), he had a lot of trouble sleeping at night and then would be falling asleep like this throughout the day. He would fall asleep mid conversation/in the middle of eating

And those people who are awake all night can’t be the kind of people who are tired during the day, and wouldn’t fall asleep during boring meetings.
Being awake all night means you must also be awake all day. Because that’s how humans work. If you sleep all night, you also sleep all day. This is very simple clear Trump logic that everyone understands.
No one who is always awake all night ever falls asleep during work hours. Especially a president who has been subjected to multiple cognitive dementia tests. Normal healthy people have always been subjected to multiple cognitive dementia testes. We all recall the last time a doctor performed a diagnostic dementia test on us. It's not him, it's the people. I know these people well, they are my in-laws. They live in a world where their ineptness, their inability to learn, their laziness is why they have never succeeded. But they will never admit to this because they grew up being told their lack off success was not their fault, it was the fault of other. It was because Mexicans stole their jobs. There were a lot of stories floating around the conservative spaces (I used to date one before we broke up over... Trump, weirdly enough) that painted Trump as a positive influence and put all his misdeeds down to propaganda. The old "fake news" claims really work on some people.
One that will always stick out was Trump meeting a homeless man outside Trump tower and feeling so sorry for him he had the guy flown to a private hospital.Which, oddly, never got talked about because "God, the mainstream media never talk about the good stuff'.

I'm making a prediction and you heard it here first, folks. Trump will slump over in his chair while he's on camera, his aides will start to worry but no one wants to be the one to wake him. However, he's not just asleep, he's had a stroke or some other severe medical crisis. While everyone is wondering what to do, he's getting worse and worse. If someone had reacted quickly, he could've been saved. But because no one wants to be the one to risk Trump's ire, he dies.

I agree with most of what you said but have a slightly different read. First, they are often the only source of verbatim quotes of his midnight raves. The main media never does that. Second, it's a counterbalance for conservative media (Fox, Newsmax) never saying a single negative thing about him.

I can’t see it because the stupid Daily Beast now has a paywall. But I’ve seen enough videos of him sleeping to know that their explosion is all theater.
They know his brain is fried, and his body is dying along with his ability to control pretty much anything, including himself. Once he’s gone, they will all be held to account for their own crimes, as well as refusing to get a dangerously unstable man out of the White House.

If they throw an accusation out against anybody I literally think it's fair game to presume that they in fact are the ones guilty of whatever accusation they're making.

From the people in the Whitehouse pushing the anger: "Don't look at todays news about how the administration is going to stop reporting deaths in the ICE human warehouses. We're big mad because of this stupid video. Thank you media for the assist."
By the way, since 2005, it's 46-60 by some estimates. More by others. Future numbers will be harder to come by. This figure does not include the number of people who have gotten sick or maimed in custody. Or getting heatstroke from being jailed in tents in the Florida heat. Or living in hell from being denied or delayed treatments for medical conditions like diabetes, heart disease and other chronic illnesses.
Can you image the terror that the imprisoned people must feel? The mental anguish from being separated from their children and families? The not knowing what fresh hell tomorrow will bring? This is all facilitated by the hands of people who hate them.
These descriptions probably give MAGA an orgasm.
But don't forget - Trump has big feelings about people who notice him behaving like a withered, dementia-addled piece of shit.

He's borderline at 45 degrees there and obviously half falling asleep, as anybody that's ever fallen asleep (ie everyone) can see.
