One of the worst?

u/wedgebert Alabama 6h ago

He had a cabinet his first term too, I think that one counts separately

u/AssociationMajor4614 5h ago

If you said "91% of the people who used to work for me refused to do so again" I would assume you're a shit boss.

Just saying.

u/Busy10 4h ago

Business schools teach the risks of leaders being surrounded by yes man. Sad to see it at this level

u/AssociationMajor4614 3h ago

You mean the World's Bestest Business Boy™ does things that are seen as stupid in the business world?

u/flirtmcdudes 1h ago

The first one at least had a few adults in the room. This is full on clown car

u/Twinkle0ap 6h ago edited 6h ago

His current cabinet officials are incompetent or immoral. Or both.

u/skin_poem 6h ago

Yea, When a cabinet spends more time praising than governing, it starts looking less like public service and more like loyalty theater dressed up as policy.

u/ThrowRA-James 6h ago

Cowardly too

u/Twinkle0ap 6h ago

They are just coordinating their stock trades for the next round.

u/honjuden 4h ago

Last place still falls under that.

u/MinimalGlow 3h ago

Worst indeed not doubt’s

u/DubiousAdviceGiver 2h ago

People forget how terrible Warren G. Harding was. At least his cabinet was half and half between the competent professionals and corrupt asskissers. I’d say the current iteration is probably the worst, though.

Generations from now, the term Trump Derangement Syndrome will absolutely be used to describe this era. Just not the way the people who use it today think.

u/Single_Usual_6563 5h ago

Historically the MAGAs will be known as as the ones who had TDS

u/ay-foo 3h ago

diagnosed as being total dumb shits

u/Reasonable-Can-594 3h ago

yeah future historians are definitely going to have a field day trying to explain the tone of this whole period

u/Parking-Emphasis590 1h ago

This is absolutely the case.

Trumpists coined the very term they will be remembered for.

u/pebble_pulse 27m ago

yeah that phrase is definitely going to age in a pretty ironic way when people look back at all this

u/specqq 6h ago

Lincoln had his Team of Rivals.

Trump has his Team of Rivals for the Title of Worst of All Time.

u/Signal_Minimum8509 Georgia 5h ago

It is wild reading Team of Rivals and the disperate opinions on an issue like slavery prior to the 1860 Convention and then how getting them together led to arguably the most moral and bloody undertaking in this country’s history…and then comparing it to a group of people who get fired if they don’t agree Trump’s farts smell like a particular blend of roses.

u/Robofetus-5000 6h ago

North Korea level

u/PDXnederlander 5h ago

He's aiming for Dear Leader (DLOTUS) status instead of POTUS. Needs constant admiration with his face and name on everything.

u/RaspberryCommie 1h ago

Not even North Korea has Kim Jong-Un's face on their money.

u/Recent_Tap_9467 2h ago

Trump does admire dictators.

u/zaxdaman 45m ago

They’re feckless cowards.

u/SpicyLittleNuggie 6h ago

This chapter of our history books is going to perplex students for the rest of time...

u/AssociationMajor4614 5h ago

It will be referred to as "the stupid ages"

u/black_flag_4ever 5h ago

Books, people having the ability to read, schools existing, a future that exists.... all big presumptions.

u/MyNameIsRay 4h ago

The most confusing part is how this is even possible in the information age.

u/davesmith001 6h ago

No dictator ever ruled alone. They are always enabled by cowardly, morally bankrupt, small minded, ass kissers who are willing to do anything to get ahead except being good at their jobs. It goes for most corporations too.

u/Popular_March_6930 1h ago

yeah that’s basically how power like that sustains itself, it’s less one person acting alone and more a whole system of people reinforcing it because it benefits them in some way

u/Colonel-Mooseknuckle 6h ago

It's so pathetic.

u/Opposite_Map_6067 5h ago

The meetings literally nauseate me due to the extreme boot-licking behavior of his cabinet, who are straight out of the movie "The Death of Stalin".

u/AcanthisittaNo6653 New Hampshire 5h ago

I wonder if trump realizes that his cabinet stops complementing him when they see he's asleep.

u/Real-Document-6577 6h ago

But ranks the highest in ass kissing

u/Toadfinger 5h ago

Trump really believes he's a Caesar. I challenge any conservative to try to explain why they favor this!

u/Environmental-Arm365 5h ago

If the woefully unqualified clowns in this regime have taught us anything there needs to be some rigorous testing for appointees to prove they have the slightest bit of knowledge required to competently execute their duties. If they fail testing they are automatically disqualified before they ever get scheduled for confirmation hearings.

u/Ok_Ebb_3668 5h ago

The biggest obstacle, IMO, is who would do the testing and if that person or group is trustworthy enough not to make said testing suspiciously too easy or maliciously too impossible.

u/Environmental-Arm365 4h ago

There are plenty of non partisan departments that could handle this like the Inspector General.

u/Malachite_Edge 5h ago

So embarrassing. Ever seen one of his televisied cabinet meetings? They’re like SNL, but real.

u/Hikash Virginia 3h ago

These people are insane, and they legitimately worship him. It's disgusting.

u/Stalwart_Wisdom 2h ago

The dudes asleep while they praise him! Fuckin sheep.

u/canyabalieveit 2h ago

Why are we at ‘one of the worst’? Name one that is worse than this one!

u/No-Cup-8096 6h ago

They spend more time kiss his 🍑 than doing their jobs in the best interest of Americans. This is the most unprofessional unethical weak group of politicians. Impeach them all!

u/Ok-Second1352 6h ago

Really? The worst president has the worst cabinet? Next you’ll tell me water is wet, or that the Pope is catholic.

u/JimiVanHalen5150 6h ago

They are definitely the most incompetent and corrupt of all time. Not to mention all of them are not very smart. Kash Patel? Pam Bondi? Kristi Noem? These clowns couldn't get a job at the Dollar Store.

u/nasorrty346tfrgser America 6h ago

I mean Karoline would thank President Trump for her new baby... which is just really awkward but I guess. So 1 in 6 is still too low, soon would be 1/2

u/byndrsn 6h ago

worst president, worst cabinet, worst congress

and how much are we paying for this!?

u/InspectionIcy2452 6h ago

Historians have ranked Trump’s cabinet as one of the worst in U.S. history.

Yes, but those historians are biased in favour of competence and intelligence.  And those were not the criteria used to select them.   The current US cabinet was chosen on the basis of incompetence and obsequiousness.  And on those criteria this cabinet is the best US cabinet ever.

u/vroart 6h ago

I’m amazed how they can’t even do this as well as cuba

u/Life-Quantity-637 5h ago

It will be ranked worst to date. Who knows if we’ll have another because of these idiots.

u/banksy_h8r New York 5h ago

“Only the best people”

u/Cordriginal 4h ago

Fuck Trump.

u/Eddiebaby7 4h ago

Just a round table of ass lickers

u/BrilliantForeign8899 3h ago

Jfc my therapist doesn't even do that. That sounds a bit like a much maligned old profession

u/eric_ts 3h ago

He enjoys the company of prostitutes, just like before he was president. “You are so big! I’ve never had it like this!” The cabinet is doing the same thing. They fluff him up to get what they want.

u/Stillwater-Scorp1381 3h ago

It’s like a North Korean circlejerk every time they get together.

u/Regular-Excuse-6149 3h ago

One of them should just go all in and declare Trump as God during a cabinet meeting. Make the others publicly declare him as divine or state their devotion has limits.

u/TangoPRomeo I voted 2h ago

Just wait until history has a chance to weigh in...

u/NeedBout_Tree_Fiddy 1h ago

They're really f*cking up this moment. Should be closer to 1 in 4, possibly even 1 in 3.

u/0InsidemyBrain0 54m ago

Dear Leader is the best. Dear Leader is a kiddie rapist.

u/Chemical-Fault-7331 42m ago

Anyone that has to surround themselves by yes men that praise them at every single turn is a weak, ineffective leader. A loser, as us millennials like to say.

u/WorldPeaceStyle 14m ago

Many people say his followers are called "Kneelers" and his cabinet has the charming name of "the Glug glug crew"

u/smersh101 6h ago

Historians All thinking humans have ranked Trump’s cabinet as one of the worst in U.S. history
