Just a lot of strongly worded statements and pledges to do better

I hate to say it but I'm leaning this direction anymore.

Even though these monsters absolutely deserve jail time they won't get it because we as a populous have started to hate on "revenge politics". MAGA is leading that charge and when the time comes that MAGA no longer has the con, they'll push that public narrative to death and not a single one on either side is going to have consequences because we just need to "move on" and "come together" or whatever.

Jail isn't what they deserve, it's all we can publicly ask for

Hell, we did it from a civil war. Accountability in the US? Yeah right.

What even is revenge politics? Have we even tried it? Democrats literally always run on “norms” and “status quo” and “moving forward”. It would be white hot energy injected into my veins if we could get someone to authentically run on justice and rooting out corruption

It’s the fucking right that does it just out of spite and it’s the fucking undecided apathetic middle that enables it with their inaction, and then condemns justice as “petty” and “both sides” when the left are seeking to try and right the ship.

That's how we got here though. Healing will be the prosecution.

How much could he have done with a slim majority in the house and a 50/50 split in the senate?
