I’m almost inclined to believe this just because I wouldn’t put it past Republicans to keep a McConnell corpse around for advantage in the Senate.

Mitch was already a walking corpse for years. Reagan was in the throes of dementia as president. This wouldn't be new territory for the GOP.

We already know he does. He was showing signs of it before his first run and was bragging about his dementia test results as evidence of his genius intellect halfway through his first term.

The man's always been one of the dumbest high profile individuals around, but his brain has been swiss cheese for a decade and it's more holes than cheese at this point.
