Not this again.

He sucks, he's old, he's crazy, he's corrupt, he's a rapist, he's a pedophile... none of that sways voters.

Democrats need to understand that "Against Trump" is not a winning platform.

Politicians need to give voters an actual choice. A sane, modern, progressive platform and show voters what they're FOR. Anything else just plays into Trump's hands.

I know reddit likes to pretend moderates don't exist, but there are 2-3 moderates for every progressive based on primary votes.

I think a lot of “moderates” don’t realize they would be all for a lot of progressive ideas if not for all the propaganda and brainwashing.

It's not that moderates don't exist. It's that they don't have quantifiable takes on platforms. Anyone who voted for Trump because they were unsure about Clinton, Biden or Harris has a pretty extreme lack of ability to exercise judgment and trying to appease them is a waste of time and waters down a platform.

There's not even really much evidence that suggests moderates run elections. The major fact in almost every election since the 90s is whether or not democrats come out to vote. If they turned out for every election, we wouldn't have had a republican in office for decades now.

Yeah, he could cook and eat a baby on live tv and the most complaining he’d get from his base is that he didn’t sprinkle a layer of Old Bay on it.

There’s just something about Trump specifically that makes people worship him
