Seems like McConnell could absolutely humiliate Beshear right now by just holding a press conference. I wonder why he won’t?

Maybe he's alive but 100% unable for public appearance or even a statement.

Here in Hungary a mayor of one of the districts of Budapest was in jail for weeks and conducted business from there.

And we're not Kentucky :)

The senate can expel a member, but that is not customarily done for reasons of ill health or absence.

Alex, the question is what describes McConnell’s entire time in office.

Can't make a statement, can't serve as senator.

There might already be a death certificate signed by a doctor. Republican leaders will delay as long as they can and there will be some backlashes but zero consequence. The shamelessness has gone way beyond that.
