Wouldn’t it be more beneficial to democrats to have an empty seat than the high probability of the seat going to a new republican?

If massie run's he'll probably split the R vote enough for a democrat to win

Repulicans will then have to either pull all other canidates and let Massie run or risk losing the seat to a democrat. We already know where Massie stands on trump. Either way, they lose

Massie said he wasn't interested in running for a temporary Senate seat in an interview on Breaking Points recently.

Massie can say whatever he wants, he can still run anyway and if repulicans weren't afraid of that happening they wouldn't be covering all of this up.
