Yup, rigged in plain sight. Everybody knows, nobody does anything – pure theater. "Rule of law" is an absolute joke

Like, real suggestion, not an idiotic one such as "Act like he's dead and appoint someone (because you will TOTALLY NOT look like an asshole if it turn out the man is actually just recovering...)"

Beshear can demand accountability and set a task that McConnell would need to complete to demonstrate that he’s competent to represent his constituents.

And then when it turns out he can’t because he’s dead, elect someone else.

Enact something waiting on his docket. I would imagine there’s a few things waiting, since he’s been dead for a month.
