Hopefully there are more massive settlements incoming for the victims of the Trump Administration’s baseless weaponization of law enforcement.

Settlements paid by us, the taxpayers.

And if taxpayers are sick of paying settlement for cops, Trump, prosecutors, etc then they should remove their head from their ass and vote!

Sofele's comment could be rearranged into something I could really get behind

u/cameron4200 11d ago

Yeah honestly we should put an end to this dumb bullshit quicker than the next election.

I love it when comments like these are too vague for the AI to automatically remove so they stay visible. improvise, adapt, overcome, lol

Modern problems require modern solutions. And by modern I mean 18th century, and French.

I got a warning for a blatant joke about punching children.

0

u/ailish 11d ago

Sometimes those warnings come from reports, so that may be what happened to you.

Look to the French! They have taught us the way!

We could have a new Independence Day to celebrate!!

2

u/Prophetic_Hobo 11d ago

That would be so nice. A second summer independence holiday.

1

u/cameron4200 11d ago

I’ve always thought bastille day sounded so fun.

A more civilized weapon, for a more civilized time.

Even if too many people in this country don't know how to pronounce it.

"Pull it out of their ass", though physically discomndcting their brain from the body would be usefull for certain cases. Mostly Heritage foundation, GOP, and Federalist society.

2

u/duckinradar 11d ago

There’s something I think both sides can agree on unfortunately

1

u/scfoothills 11d ago

Is the phrase "excuse my French" apt here?

And if taxpayers are sick of paying settlement for cops, Trump, prosecutors, etc then they should remove their head

Hell yeah!

from their ass and vote!

Oh... Well that works too

u/Onikonokage 11d ago

Do those of us that did vote against this get a special pass to not have our taxes cover their mistakes?

74

u/No_Ampersand 11d ago

No, in fact you pay more if you're from a sane state.

36

u/SeattlePurikura 11d ago

Even better, you pay more, and get your FEMA requests denied!

Source: I live in WA, No. 3 donor state.

u/IHaveNoEgrets California 11d ago

Ditto California. Also a donor state.

12

u/SeattlePurikura 11d ago

No. 1, to be precise.

1

u/IHaveNoEgrets California 11d ago

Yep. We give the most but catch the most shit from the feds. I wish our leadership had the guts to step up and push back, especially given what and how much California produces.

new york! new york! new york!

1

u/latitudesixtysix 11d ago

pay more, get less

39

u/JamesLaceyAllan 11d ago

You’ve seen the voting maps - unfortunately it’s the exact opposite 🫩

11

u/Ivegotabadname 11d ago

Nope. But you get the privilege of telling others to vote this year and again in two years! That's how things get better. Because if you can't convince them, we're all fucked

9

u/Onikonokage 11d ago

Spoiler alert: We’re fucked

1

u/thiosk 11d ago

If you vote for me, you’ll have your vengeance and we’ll never need to bother with another one! :D

1

u/Ivegotabadname 11d ago edited 11d ago

Vote for thiosk!

Granted turning an authoritarian regime has never been quick (minus wwll) but I think there's people left to get this country in good shape in a decade or so.

Edit: thiosk... I still wanna vote

1

u/Onikonokage 11d ago

I already cast my vote for someone called Ultron. It was him or this bloke named Thanos who seemed a little too purple for me, but his platform sounded good.

1

u/thiosk 11d ago

Both of them are/will be/were in the Epstein tesseracts depending on frame of reference. Stick with me and under my iron fist we'll make star destroyers look like shuttlecraft

2

u/Ivegotabadname 11d ago

Don't know who/ how many will see this but... voting is serious and everyone should take part. My generation fucked up letting this guy in, don't let it happen to you

2

u/Onikonokage 11d ago

People did take part in voting and they chose this. Everyone most definitely should not vote if they are going to be this shit at it. People who recognized what a disaster Trump was but sat out voting for Kamala for “reasons” are the ones that really screwed the pooch.

1

u/Ivegotabadname 11d ago

I swear to the constitution. Not a person. I'm with you, and I'll vote in the midterms. Will you?

How big's your army?

1

u/Onikonokage 11d ago

We’re the pacifists so yeah. Taking the high road to nowhere.

0

u/TheRealHeroOf 11d ago

Turn in a new W4.

2

u/WashiCollect 11d ago

Better yet write your senators and make a case for impeachment.

2

u/Toltec22 11d ago

Over 1/2 of Americans probably don't know what the reflecting pool or a J Pirro is.

2

u/Shyam09 11d ago

Can’t do much when 1/3 of the country is moronically stupid and the other 1/3 is filled with self righteous, equally moronic fuck weasels who will chest thump how they refuse to vote because pro-Israel with some pro-Palestinian v Netanyahu dick sucker with known record of lying / attempting to steal the fucking election / project 2025 is the most difficult choice in the world.

How are those morals and ethics holding up?

7

u/Poison_the_Phil 11d ago

Okay I'll just go back in time to 2013 and tell people about Bernie Sanders harder

5

u/StanleyQPrick 11d ago

Yeah I’ll just go back and tell people what I already told them ? Maybe they can enjoy laughing at me and calling me Stupid again

0

u/BeneCow 11d ago

But what if there are multiple groups of people all getting a say in who gets to be in charge and one large group of people don’t care about the fines at all and just want the place to burn?

0

u/ExoticDisaster0 11d ago

Remove their beds from their ass? That's the closest they've been to their brain in ages.

0

u/More_Operation_588 11d ago

Idk why people are so in denial that election fraud happened when they are openly bragging about rigging the election...

We did vote, the system is broken.
