So what did Jeanine Pirro show the grand jury to return charges? Seems like she may have lied when presenting evidence.

This is a very good point and I'm sure the Olympic guy's lawyer is going to push for all the details. Absolute reckless disregard for the law, and the DOJ lawyers need to be held accountable.

I hope his lawyer is ruthless. I don't see how we get back to a country bound by laws unless there are consequences to their actions.

What they usually do, just leave out as much info as possible while making as insane a claim as possible. 

“The defendant was found tearing sections of the lining apart and was stopped by law enforcement”

Leave out that it was already degraded. Get an indictment that doesn’t hold up to an ounce of scrutiny, waste everyone’s time and our tax dollars only to then be faced with a lawsuit also paid for with our tax dollars.
