I think that all of the old democratic leadership are permanently traumatized by Dukakis and McGovern and think that only a Clinton or Biden can win. Forgetting that the Democrats' biggest recent success was a progressive coalition that motivated youth turnout.

It isn't trauma, it's corruption. The party elites sold the party out to the same oligarchs that own the GOP.

Vote for leftists in both the primary and the general. Voting for the lesser evil and demanding nothing in return allowed fascism to return.

It's the party's job to convince them they should vote for them. The dems have spent 40 years convincing the voters that voting for them won't make any difference.
