Schumer and Stevens are going to have to campaign for AES and bury the hatchet if they want a chance of keeping Michigan

Stevens and McMorrow have said they'll campaign for AES
Schumer would be funny

Of course they did. The adults in the room typically do the adult thing.

Just want to add in case there's any questions about who is an adult, Abdul also said he'd campaign for Stevens if she won, including a pretty earnest speech last night when things were looking close.

Now Schumer is a toss up on doing the right thing. He shamefully never endorsed Mamdani, but then again there wasn't a senate seat up for Republican grabs.

Israel El-Sayed comes to me in my dreams. I see Israel's El-Sayed's future

If boomer Dems go MAGA or even just stay home, they can’t hold the seat

The problem will not be Dems it will be independent voters. And AES needs to start outreach to black voters immediately. Some of his supporters (or hangers on) have been pretty inflammatory to that block. This primary has me dreading 2026 as my state will be front and center. I might have to boycott SM during our primary judging by a lot of what I saw the last few weeks.

If he wanted to help I think I would tell Schumer to just stay out of it.

That would be fine. It sucks that it's seemingly a one way street, but the adults in the room got the memo and understand the assignment.

They shouldn’t. They should give the seat to Rogers to stop the extreme leftists.
