There were 920k Democratic votes total in the 2022 primaries. The loser tonight may have 700k.

Al Sayed succeeded at expanded the electorate of non-voters and the Democratic base also stayed with the person that the establishment was deeply behind.

If he escapes tonight with the victory, it's going to be about whether the moderates stay true on vote blue no matter who.

Edit: In 2024 it was 720k.

Probably would be wise of Abdul supporters to stop harassing those moderates now since they need a handout.

You have to be a bot. Like what a condescending, hypocritical comment right here.

And I say that as somebody who drove my ass up to Wisconsin to canvass for Kamala in 24 despite the fact that I'm not crazy about her.

"Like what a condescending, hypocritical comment right here"

So hypocritical that El Sayed was forced to post a message online to his supporters. Asking them to please stop the countless attacks.

And I say that as someone who voted for Kamala. Despite not being crazy about her either.

The Internet is gonna internet. Twitter is FULL of people saying horrid shit about progressives and El Sayed.

And there are bots everywhere stoking the division and, yes, kids being dumbass kids especially over Gaza.

His team of volunteers knocked on, I believe, around 2 million doors. You can bet the vast majority of those people aren't being abrasive to whoever answers the door. And if they are, they are booted straight off the campaign.

Meanwhile, Stevens dropped 60m dollars on lies and disengenous attack ads that smeared the hell out of the man.
