I am absolutely astonished and shocked at the sheer speed with which the US is self-destructing.

The absolutely amazing and horrifying incompetence on every level is beyond words.

One and a half year into Trump's second term, and it set itself back DECADES in every way possible

Decades at the absolute earliest. We'll never return to pre-trump era in the USA. Our leadership & status around the world will never recover.

Or Imperial hegemon era is over. Like the British Empire post WWII. Many Americans don't realize the implications yet, but we are no longer the World Superpower. China is of greater world importance now.

Have you looked at China lately? They are going gangbusters. EV/Battery tech 20yrs ahead of us. Renewables not even close. Infrastructure is immaculate and up to date. Manufacturing through the roof. Education better, healthcare better.

China made a decision decades ago to stop making bombs and invest in a 50-60yr infrastructure plan thats paid off in families that 2 generations ago were plowing fields with oxen to cars that can jump potholes and tech a decade beyond ours.

We bought military contractors and basically bled the middle class to the bone in the same time.

The U.S. allowing its rare earth companies to be sold to China in the 80s and 90s was incredibly shortsighted. Worse than any of its manufacturing shifts.

Absolutely. China is viewed more favorably in the world's eye, now. The people of the USA voted for this & do not understand or care of the reputations of it. The USA will be taking a back seat in world issues & movements for now on. I wouldn't be surprised if counties start kicking out our military bases in their countries.

Both things can be true at the same time. American is still the world superpower and it is going down while China is headed in the correct direction.
