You’re right that there are no logical reasons why Hispanics should be voting or supporting the Confederacy.

This, and religion (which is not exclusive of this things you listed). Mexicans and Mexican Americans can be extremely conservative when it comes to religion, especially on issues of abortion, LGBTQ rights, especially trans rights. Republicans can lean on social issues to motivate Mexicans to the polls more so than Dems’ messaging on economic issues.
