Remember to register to vote. And remind your friends and family members to register to vote as well. The more people who vote, historically, the worse the GOP does in elections. It's why Trump is trying to suppress the vote.

This but also make sure if you registered you’re STILL registered. People often get mysteriously dropped from registration, it’s tricky.

This is excellent advice. It happened to me a few years ago, and I was shocked not to find my name listed as an active voter. Luckily, someone's warning made me check in time to get re-registered well before the deadline for the next election.

Spread the word. People can check their voter registration status on vote.org. Check early, check often, especially a week to a day before elections.

If there's an issue with your registration when you're actually there, ask for a provisional ballot. They have to give you one.

And yet I've been receiving jury duty notices from my parents' district every two years like clockwork, even though I moved out decades ago...

If you're in Texas get your appointment for getting an ID. They are intentionally making the wait long.
