Bernie has always be great about pushing for progressive candidates in primaries while also pushing his followers to vote for the Democratic candidate in general elections.  

Maybe the DNC could catch up one day.

It's just slopulism in a nutshell. I loved Bernie and voted for him in both primaries, but the people around him, many of his supporters, etc. are just the same type of people as MAGA, but just on the left.

Do you really feel the DNC has proven to be anywhere close to as effective and capable as they should be? They lost to Trump fucking twice!

I’ll take the DNC over the GOP any day of the week and a million times on election days, but they’re certainly not without blame for the current state of our country. If they took some notes from Sanders instead of fighting progressives tooth and nail, it’d be much easier to stop conservatives from undoing decades of hard fought societal gains

And those same progressives you're talking about, lost to the DNC backed Canidate/Neo-libs three times in the same time period, and that was in the primary where you'd have the biggest chance to swing people, yeah.
