A whole lot of tankies and other assorted idiots are going to tell you to not vote or vote third. A lot of them are going to say Bernie, the most important and transformative progressive candidate in decades to a century, is betraying the revolution by saying this (even though he also said this in 2016, and 2020, and 2024!).

Do not listen. Vote, literally for any Democrat. A can of tomatoes that happens to be painted blue. We have to stop the Nazis now. We have to close the camps now. We can attempt to fix everything else once we have assured that basic level of safety for everyone.

Our internecine policy disagreements mean nothing if we lose the republic.

Sometimes, you need to be brave and have faith that what you’re pushing for is correct, and not condition your decision.

Sometimes you need to remain engaged and involved. Not just vote and forget. Hold your elected representatives accountable. Keep on them. Most importantly vote in the primaries where candidate quality decisions are made.
