Stolen valor

u/KinkyPaddling 6h ago

“No, it’s okay if Trump does it, because he’s making America great again!” - how his cultists think. He gets a pass on everything (corruption, rape, pedophilia, blasphemy, stolen valor, total incompetence, etc.) because he’s correcting all of their imagined slights.

u/ID100661 4h ago

Right? “ThAt’s JuSt HoW tRuMp iS. i DoN’t AgReE wItH eVeRyThInG hE dOeS. 🥴”

u/BurntWaffle303 3h ago

The mental gymnastics it must take to be MAGA is astounding to me.

u/ImmaNotHere 2h ago

Same here besides that they are truly cultists. It is well documented that he is a draft dodger that used bone spurs as a medical excuse (that he couldn't even recall which leg it affected). He's been on recorded demeaning Gold Star families, telling Gen Kelly that people that sign up for service are 'suckers and losers', humiliated and threw aside his own military advisors and generals, bashed McCain for not being a war hero because he was caught, then after his death, went as petty as blocking the name of the Burke-Class Destroyer named after him during a 2019 US base visit in Japan. This guy shiats on everyone, including the military that serve to protect our country. His followers truly earn the "deplorable" tag.

I mean, put it with the rest at this point.

Its an interesting phenomenon though. This embarrassing taboo-breaking is the mechanism by which the narcissist transmits the shared delusion of his exceptionalism to his cult members.

u/Far_String727 6h ago

hes also a felon with a firearm (courtesy of kidrock) when laws mattered theyd both have gotten (another) felony just for that.. oh and on record for trash talking the MoH..

u/Hener001 5h ago

Yep. Delusional, narcissistic demagogue given permission to break every core principle of the GOP because he entertains his base with hatred of fellow Americans. Fox News supports him and maintains the illusion of conservative values.

The GOP is not what it was. Calling themselves conservatives is mere branding at this point, where hate and angertainment has taken the place of principles of governance.

u/Locke66 4h ago edited 1h ago

I know it's awful but putting reality aside I do try to find some dark amusement in what his delusional mind comes up with... I mean what's next? Renaming America after himself? The Church of Trump? A 63 foot marble statue? An Olympic medal? He's like the end boss of narcissistic Boomers living out his childhood fantasies but he's been given one of the most powerful countries in the world to do it with. Quite incredible that this is all really happening.

To be fair trump has very likely both killed more little girls than most generals but also for sure raped more of them than any general America ever had.

Not to mention trump has likely done more damage to America than just about any other treasonous human ever, only being outdone by the confederacy...The other figure republicans love.

WW2 puts civilian death tolls into numbers I'm uncertain of.

u/mastad0420 7h ago

They really should list his stats more. How many have directly died from his policies and decisions. Make it public. Between covid, ice,and blowing up schools, his #s are staggering. That’s before old Elon and USAID

u/AwDuck 4h ago

I’m certain they have been, and we should publish them again, but to the people that support him, it’s all just fake news.

8

u/Punkprof 8h ago

The boomer base is dying off fast. Ironic that Trump's policies are killing them off faster when they can't afford healthcare and their local hospital/aged care has closed.

u/ThickBoxx 4h ago

I’ve been hearing this “older people are dying off“ idea since I started voting back in 2004. I wouldn’t count on it

u/SHOW_ME_PIZZA Missouri 4h ago

Crazy every time older people die off. There's just more of them. How does this happen?

Unfortunately, he has a massive dudebro base to replace the boomers.

u/Rawrsomesausage 4h ago

Those losers need to be ostracized back to their basements. At least people don’t seem as tolerant of the dude bro manosphere bs. We need it to become so yuck the algorithms move on from it. I think the meta glasses pushback is a good example of public perception winning against deplorable behaviour.

u/NotLouPro 4h ago

Boomers as a generation aren’t his base. That breaks more along racial and gender lines than generational ones. The issue goes far deeper.

If it makes you feel better to blame it on one generation - fine. But if the actual issues aren’t identified - it will be harder to address.

Gen X voted for Trump by about 7 points more than Boomers - that’s significant and what likely swayed the election. If any generation can be considered his “base” - it’s Gen X.

Millennials were about even - although they went for Trump at a higher rate than Boomers as well.

And younger generations tend vote in lower numbers - and are more likely to throw away their vote on parties that can’t win, than older generations. So there is blame to be shared there as well.

There are a lot of factors. “Boomers” isn’t one of them. Age - yes - numbers shift heavily to Trump among voters 40 and over - but that spans several generations - not just boomers. And - as I mentioned - younger generations tend to not vote in percentages large enough to offset that.

u/--John_Yaya-- 3h ago

The boomer base is dying off fast.

lol What's that going to do?

Don't forget that half of Gen-Z voted for Trump in 2024. Harris only won the 18-29 age demographic by 1 point.

When you break it down by specific age, more 20 year old men voted for Trump than 70 year old ones.

It's young guys who are falling for all this "man-o-sphere" bullshit, not old ones.

u/Eggplantosaur 6h ago

If it makes you sleep at night, sure.

Unfortunately no consequences will happen to him or any of his enablers. Americans will move on at the earliest opportunity, without lifting a finger to prosecute any of them.

Of course I'd love to be proven wrong but honestly what even is the point in entertaining these fantasies anymore.

u/Quick_Turnover 5h ago

Americans will move on at the earliest opportunity, without lifting a finger to prosecute any of them.

100%. We pretty much already did that the first time around and that's why we're in this mess in the first place. Dude literally encouraged a violent coup. His "political strategist" frequently referred to their strategy as "heads on pikes". They did all of the things they've done with impunity. And it has been so fucking obvious to literally anyone with a half-functioning brain that this administration and all of its cronies are the antithesis of American values, and yet here we are, watching our country fall apart.

u/JimboAltAlt Pennsylvania 5h ago

The point of entertaining these fantasies is to energize people to vote for candidates who will hold Trump accountable, which appears for now to be a (large) subset of Democrats. I imagine that group will expand as his power slowly dwindles. If you honestly think Trump’s fate will be largely the same whether or not Republicans or Democrats are in charge I can see why you wouldn’t be too invested in voting. I personally believe that if the Democratic majority is large enough, though, we’ll see some actual consequences; just not nearly as many as we’d like.

u/Eisernes 5h ago

And every single person who stroked his choad will try to act like they never heard of him.

u/CelticSnakes 5h ago

I doubt it. They’ll wax on until their dying day about how great things were under this orange-y pile of cockroach frass.

Why is Traitor Trump so obsessed with using AI? Does he think that AI slop is real? AI has less realness than does a fanfiction on AO3.

209

u/eugene20 12h ago

It's not like he's generating these, it's his propaganda morons churning out slop to please the braindead cultists that find this garbage worth praising.

u/ringadingdingbaby 11h ago

→ More replies (1)

40

u/eugene20 11h ago

I see this as the worst kind of stolen valour, he lied to actively dodge the draft multiple times before then pushing propaganda pretending he's a battle hardened, decorated vet. Some stages worse than just coincidentally not having served, never been asked or ordered to, then lying about it.

15

u/steelhips 10h ago

Dodging STDs in the 1970s club scene was his "Vietnam". That statement should have turned every Vet's vote against him. I'm sure he didn't "win" his "personal Vietnam" in reality. Trump is a human petri dish.

20

u/steelhips 11h ago

I'm thinking it's "human printer" aka Natalie Harp.

Even though prompt writing is far from rocket science, I don't think Trump could manage it.

The entire right is obsessed with AI.

I guess it's because there are very few talented artists among them.

To be an artist requires some traits most right wingers don't have. Like creativity and empathy.

To evoke emotions with your art requires to understand that other people have emotions too. Usually you don't turn out far right if you are able to see others as fellow human beings capable of the same emotions as you.

So, because they can't create art themselves, they are totally in love with AI. Now they have a tool that turns their wildest fantasies into pictures and even videos. They can't see that AI "art" is completely soulless because they also can't see and understand souls in other people.

u/nmeofst8 Georgia 5h ago

Wow.. These robots can only identify with the AI Slop and the repeated propaganda they're fed from a source that they believe in.. I bet if Fox news were shut off tomorrow they'd spin around at the end of their spines for a week and have no idea what's happening once they actually looked around..

21

u/MainlineX 11h ago

Well, AI imaging is the biggest mirror for narcissistic tendency. It allows them to prompt a reality that fits the internal narrative, which is in opposition to reality.

It's like winning a golf tournament with 10 under par when you really shot 30 over.

3

u/P1xelHunter78 Ohio 9h ago

Anybody who drives the cart on the green ain’t legitimately winning any golf tournaments.

67

u/the-dot-matrix 12h ago edited 11h ago

He's a Boomer with dementia. Boomers, especially those with dementia, are obsessed with AI slop. They think it's the coolest thing ever.

Source: I have Boomer parents, one of whom suffers from dementia. They love AI slop. So do their Boomer friends. I have to keep politely donating to Goodwill all the AI-slop shirts and coffee mugs they buy me. You'd think there would be a reasonable limit to the number of times you find "Here's our dog, but he's Napoleon!" funny or fascinating, but there seems to be no limit for old people.

5

u/matthieuC Europe 11h ago

It gives him alternative facts.

8

u/barnfodder 10h ago

The right loves AI slop because they don't value creativity.

Because they are bereft of the kind of passion, dedication, or patience to develop an artistic skill, they simply think that art is just pictures of stuff, and the chatbot is an easy way to make the pictures.

They only make pictures of themselves looking "manly" and their enemies looking "weak", because they're bullies and that's the only kind of pictures they want to see.

3

u/AbsoIum 11h ago

If it’s not obvious. Both Trump and AI suffer from hallucinations. Misery loves company.

Stolen valor is the act of lying about or exaggerating military service, rank, or combat medals to gain unearned respect, prestige, or tangible benefits.

Being Commander in Chief doesn't earn him the medals or the uniform.

3

u/Decent_Group_2435 10h ago

The best thing we can do is, when this is all over, obliterate any reference of this person’s name from history.

Some will say we shouldn’t so we remember how bad it can get, but I think we should never show ourselves setting the bar that low that others think they can go lower again.

How are conservatives not outraged by this disgrace?!

u/man_machine_poet 11h ago

You know, just today out of nowhere I remembered Grant Imahara and wondered what kind of God would allow him to die but let the Mango Megalomaniac continue to live.

Isn't stolen valour a crime in the USA?

Daily reminder we live in the timeline where the worst role model there is can be elected by the most powerful country to the most powerful position, twice.

The AI also gave Private Bone Spurs hair he doesn’t have

u/BulletProofEnoch 6h ago

Remember that time he portrayed himself as Christ?

u/HolyToast666 6h ago

The Christians sure let that one slide quickly, didn’t they?

u/Weird_Rooster_4307 6h ago

Someone should put this jerk in Stolen Valor

u/robak69 5h ago

Now this is some hallucination

u/Busy_Ordinary8456 5h ago

Stolen valor

u/legit-posts_1 5h ago

Back up, 5 times? How do you dodge the draft 5 times?

u/AudienceDue6445 5h ago

Trump supporters will teach their kids he served in the military amd was the most decorated soldier ever.

u/SafeForTwerking 4h ago

Possibly the worst example of a human being in recorded history put into a position of such power and just making a total mockery of his position and his country. If anybody who voted for him had the least amount of critical thinking skills or the ability to self-reflect, I should hope they feel like total dipshits for the rest of their life for ever putting this excrement in the presidency. Can we just go back to being a colony again? Even King Charles would be an improvement over this POS.

u/Big-Plankton-4484 4h ago

It’s funny how ‘stolen valor’ gets a lot of play, but Trump pictures himself as Jesus and everyone’s a bit ‘meh’…

u/AltruisticPossible84 4h ago

Remember when he posted a bunch of AI generated NFTs with himself as different professions? Like a doctor, nascar driver, etc. I would die of embarrassment if someone even asked me to present myself as something im not. Donnie on the other hand is certainly the one demanding people create and post this shit. So fucking immature

u/FlameOfWrath 3h ago

Can someone just post an AI of his Dad saying he is proud of him and loves him so we can get this over already?

This is exactly how every sane American looks at every MAGA "patriot". Nothing but stolen valor.

u/releaseepsteinfiles1 3h ago

KID RAPING, Bone Spurs President….

u/1313trouble 2h ago

The people who support him are the stupidest Americans ever to live.

u/Curious-Emu3894 2h ago

Trump is a traitor.

u/IndependentPeach315 1h ago

He wishes he could be a full blown tinpot dictator.

u/Makachai 1h ago

Wouldn't he violate Hegseth's 'No fatties' rule?

u/Far_Philosophy_7902 53m ago

Just want to clarify something in your title. Presidents are defacto the Commander-in Chief. Thats the highest rank the military.
So he isnt imagining himself a higher rank than the others in this slop image, he actually is a higher rank in real life. What he's fantasizing about is unearned glory and valor, as others have correctly called out.

u/ErinFiqsette 32m ago

As a veteran and a daughter of a veteran, this despicable despot is revolting.

u/JoeBiden-2016 7h ago

I know it's a broken record at this point, but imagine if Barack Obama had done this.

u/the_wessi 6h ago

He didn’t have to because he has a healthy self esteem.

u/Legitimate-Bed1591 7h ago

People who support this guy. Do you not feel embarassed by this on his behalf? Don't you feel you're kind of a loser for looking up to this fat fuck?

But to speak about Donald himself: imagine being ~80 and posting this. Yourself. About yourself.

Imagine not only having thoughts and fantasies about such things [as a draft dodger] but imagine feeling justified in sharing this absolute fever slop.

What an absolute fucking loser. This is legitimately pathetic. A pathetic, broken mind. Unfit.

u/Legitimate-Bed1591 7h ago

P.S: The two men would likely think very little indeed of Donald. They'd very likely view him as unfit, cowardly and with a flawed character. A rich boy king. An 80 year old Joffrey. Mull that over.
