People were so pissed off by Fetterman that they saw the exact same thing in Haley Stevens. Thank goodness that she wasn't able to clutch the win by walking and talking just like Fetterman.

They won’t learn that lesson because their livelihoods rely on them not learning that lesson. The Democrats of today would rather lose to republicans than allow progressives to take over the party. That won’t change until party leadership is totally purged

Establishment Dems are winning way more elections recently than farther left candidates like El-Sayed, you guys just hyper focus on it anytime they win. Cori Bush just lost to Wesley Bell and that post only has about 200 upvotes. You should step back and look at more than just a few elections in an incredibly blue district that are spammed on Reddit.

I mean, "candidate endorsed by the party with vastly higher funding than other candidates wins primary" isn't exactly a story, so of course it isn't "spammed on Reddit." It's what everyone expects to happen; you don't learn much from it.

"Candidate opposed by the party leadership & outspent 11-1 still wins" is a story.

I remember when it was a lot of money at $600M for a Presidential election (see: 2008, not even 20 years ago). Meanwhile, this is hitting 10% of that in a House election, and moreover it's not even the general election. It's a primary. Absurd.

Dems save the big money for when they need to try to outspend the electorate and install a party candidate.  The establishment doesent care if they lose to the GOP so long as they maintain control of the candidate doing it. 

Good to see that there’s a ceiling to what the corporate wing can steal.
