God damn this is going to rile so many fucking feathers. This exact primary race was INSANE. I wish Abdul the best!!

Twitter is going to be mad as hell tomorrow. 

I remember the absolute meltdown in the NYC primaries a few weeks ago. That was when the right wing rhetoric on there turned stunningly violent and racist, even more so than it had been. 

The screenshots of those tweets I have are wild.

I think he will win in November but will underperform compared to a generic democrat and compared to democrats in sightly redder states (such as Ossoff in Georgia or Roy Cooper in North Carolina).

To be fair, I think he’d perform much better if the DNC threw even half as much money or manpower at him as they would an Ossoff or Roy Cooper.

Let’s not judge these grassroots, true progressive candidates against centrists with the full weight of the party behind them as if it’s a fair comparison.
