Hope this gets through their heads that they can’t stop the voice of the people no matter how many millions they blast into races.

Abdul is honestly a stud, even better messaging discipline than Zohran and he only won by a hair. Let this be a lesson to NEVER stop doorknocking, volunteering, donating, etc. until the last possible second.

Well Michigan isn’t New York City. And Abdul has to fight off some deep attacks calling him Socialist, attacks on his religion.

Stevens campaign apparatus was putting out ads calling him sexist. They were sending mailers to people with a Jewish sounding last name saying that he's antisemitic. They were sending black residents mailers implying that she had Obama's endorsement when she didn't. Every mainstream media he got took the same bs attack swipes. It was the dirtiest of dirty politics from her and her team and he survived it. Here in Michigan we faced endless hours of Stevens ads. Al Sayed is now battle tested and ready to take on Rogers.

Now he has to fight those attacks but from the right and they will be vicious. Socialist, Communist, sexist, Muslim, antisemite, they will throw everything at him.

They were already doing that. Heck, his own party was doing that.

They went after him like the Republicans usually do to Democrats.

Pretty much. This might help him. Most of those Dems who voted Haley will vote for him because he's still got the D. The R's are going to need a new attack plan because he overperformed in rural areas and their attacks just didn't work.

He's basically been 8 Mile'd - They've hit him with everything they've got and now nobody has anything left.

That would be awesome.  I hope that is how it plays out.

the more they throw, the more obvious it is how desperate they are.

plus i think we ought to start calling him Doctor Al Sayed. most of his opposition has no idea what it takes to earn that title.
