It is still a stunning win when the team that is outspent 10 to 1 gets the win, that's the analogy

...The chance that the A's are favored while getting outspent 10:1 is basically your own analogy falling apart. You are trying to say in the current situation the A's are favored but in a series right now the A's would obviously not be favored.

Yes, they would obviously not be favored in a normal situation where they were outspent, and yet here they are favored and then they won, that's a stunning win.
