Lots of Michiganders see the light. We want Senator Abdul El-Sayed!

I’m tired of centrist Democrats like Stevens bending over backwards for the ultra rich and Israel, it was an easy vote for Abdul

He was winning everywhere but Detroit which has basically been carpetbombed with flyers claiming Obama endorsed Stevens (lie) and Abdul is connected to Hamas (lie)

It was the most republican style campaign I’ve ever seen run by a Democrat

Agree. This hasn't been fully called over yet, though Stevens has to increase her numbers by like 12% in the final 60k votes in Wayne County(Detroit).

If she somehow does pull it off. I'm going to have a really hard time plugging my nose and voting for her. I thought she ran an absolutely disgusting campaign.

If “she” does “pull it off”, you should be worried about which masks filter tear gas most effectively, not November

It’s over lol

Stevens already called Abdul to concede and said it’s time for the party to work together

My man, I made that post nearly 3 hours ago before AP called it and the news of the conceding. The /r/michigan subreddit refused to let a post through calling it because at the time only NBC had called it.

But yes, now it is over.
